After hanging out at Ye Xingzhou's place all night, Qi Xing woke up early the next morning and immediately ran away.
If he got tricked a third time, he would be a pig.
In the following two days, even though Qi Ronghua and Wang Cuilan were not home, Qi Xing rarely went out to mess around. He still went to the company as usual, although it was just to slack off.
He ignored all messages from Ye Xingzhou as he didn’t want to see that person until he was fully recovered.
On the third night, Yang Kaiming called him to invite him to a nightclub for drinks and also wanted to apologize because of the last matter.
“I’m not going,” Qi Xing replied irritably, clearly not in the mood to be nice to this guy.
“Come on, Qi, I have some fresh goods to introduce to you,” Yang Kaiming baited him, “Fresh and pure. I guarantee she’s not worse than Teacher Lin. You don’t want to hang yourself on that one tree, do you?”
Qi Xing wanted to say he had lost interest in Lin Zhinian, but he changed his mind at the last moment: “Is it true? Don’t joke with me.”
Yang Kaiming replied, “You’ll know if it’s true when you see him in person.”
So Qi Xing changed his mind and drove out.
He arrived at the place at ten-thirty. In the bar, Yang Kaiming and his group were drinking and playing cards. When they saw Qi Xing come in, they all greeted him.
Qi Xing sat down on the sofa and the group of rich kids started chattering about how he wasn’t being considerate because he never mentioned his relationship with Mr. Chen before. Qi Xing scolded them, “What does it have to do with you? You’re all just waiting to eat and die. Do your families still expect anything from you? Enough nonsense, where is he?”
Yang Kaiming chuckled and pointed to the bar: “Over there, the one mixing drinks.”
Qi Xing casually looked over and saw a young man who looked about twenty-five or twenty-six, wearing a bartender's uniform. His slightly curly long hair was tied up and he had a smile at the corner of his mouth. His face was striking under the lights and his bartending skills were impressive, making his movements somewhat dazzling and indeed a bit interesting.
He lazily crossed his legs and watched for a moment. Yang Kaiming leaned over and asked with a smile, “What do you think, Qi? I didn’t lie to you, right? I’ve been observing him for several days and even tried talking to him twice. He’s not greasy, has a slim waist and long legs, definitely your type and not worse than Teacher Lin, right?”
Qi Xing glanced sideways: “Tried? How did you try? Don’t you like at least a D-cup?”
Yang Kaiming begged for mercy: “Come on, Qi, don’t tease me. I just chatted with him a few times. I promise, he’s really pure.”
Qi Xing was somewhat distracted as he was not really interested but he was indeed bored. He stared at the bartender for a while then tapped his knee with his fingers and said, “Then I’ll go meet him.”
Amidst the whistles and cheers from the rich kids, he stood up and walked to the bar.
He casually sat on a high stool and when the bartender turned around and saw him, he smiled and asked what he wanted to drink.
Qi Xing’s gaze fell on him. Up close, this face was also quite nice, definitely not worse than Lin Zhinian. But for some reason, his mind inexplicably conjured up Ye Xingzhou’s cold and handsome face with sharp and smooth lines, especially the natural charm that emerged when that guy took off his glasses. He had never seen that kind of allure in anyone else.
With this comparison, the face in front of him seemed a bit bland and unremarkable.
Qi Xing raised his chin proudly: “Make me a drink that you’re good at.”
The bartender asked him to wait a moment and turned back to the liquor shelf.
Qi Xing’s gaze wandered around the bartender’s waist. It was indeed slim but too slim that made him look like a little girl. The body was too thin, probably because of having not enough meat on him and his legs were not as long as that beast’s, making him utterly unappealing.
He closed his eyes in frustration while feeling irritated.
Another new message came in on his phone: “Come over tonight.”
Fuck you.
Qi Xing typed out those four words but didn’t send them. His fingers paused and he deleted them one by one then replaced them with: “Not going because I have a plan to meet someone else tonight. You’re free to do as you please.”
Go jerk off by yourself.
Half a minute later, another message came in: “Send me your location.”
Qi Xing’s reply was a “roll” along with an eye-rolling emoji.
The young bartender placed the prepared drink in front of Qi Xing. The ice-blue liquid transitioned to a light green, layered and beautiful.
The bartender began to explain how the drink was made but Qi Xing’s mind was wandering more and more and not hearing a word. Just as he was about to pick up the glass, the bartender suddenly said, “I just started working here not long ago. Today seems to be the first time I’ve seen Young Master Qi.”
Qi Xing came back to his senses and raised an eyebrow: “You know me?”
The bartender slightly pursed his lips: “I guess you could say that.”
Qi Xing: “How?”
The bartender hesitated for a moment and handed him something—a transparent plastic bag that was only half the size of a palm and contained two white pills.
Qi Xing: “What’s this?”
The bartender lowered his voice and told him it was a type of soft drug and someone had paid to have it slipped into his drink.
Qi Xing’s face darkened instantly.
Although he loved to have fun, but he never touched such things and Yang Kaiming and his group wouldn’t dare either.
Hearing the bartender mention Fourth Young Master Ye, he scoffed coldly as his eyes turned as he picked up his phone and sent Ye Xingzhou a message.
“Didn’t you say you’d help me deal with that guy? Is that still valid?”
The reply came: “It depends on your performance.”
Qi Xing quickly sent his location back.
As he stood up, his gaze paused and he asked the bartender: “Since you took the money, why did you suddenly change your mind and sell him out?”
The bartender smiled: “I hope Young Master Qi can come more often in the future.”
Qi Xing thought to himself that Yang Kaiming was indeed a pig and unable to distinguish between pure and pretentious. Perhaps it was because Yang Kaiming came to cozy up to this bartender every day that made Ye Wanqi develop ulterior motives.
“Still trying to seduce me even though your methods are immature.”
The bartender’s smile froze and Qi Xing smirked: “Sorry, but I’ve changed my taste recently.”
Although Ye Xingzhou was indeed a beast, but considering his skills and looks, he reluctantly accepted it.
Twenty minutes later, Qi Xing, along with Yang Kaiming and six or seven rich kids, plus more than ten hired thugs they had just paid for, swaggered upstairs.
Ye Wanqii was upstairs in a private room while drinking and doing drugs. When Qi Xing kicked open the door, he hadn’t even reacted and swayed as he stood up. He was about to curse but was kicked back into the sofa by Qi Xing, who had his hands in his pockets and let out a scream like a slaughtered pig.
Ye Xingzhou drove over alone, and by the time he arrived, it was already past midnight.
Actually, even without Qi Xing sending his location, he knew he was here as the nightclub was owned by a friend of his and someone had informed him as soon as Qi Xing walked in.
The street outside the nightclub was noisy with at least twenty or thirty people gathered together to engage in a brawl.
Ye Xingzhou watched from a distance for a moment then turned his car around to the other side of the street then parked there and turned off the engine.
After he rolled down the window, he lit a cigarette, and leisurely watched Qi Xing teach someone a lesson in the rearview mirror while having no intention of getting out.
Though it was called a fight, it was actually just Qi Xing unilaterally beating people up.
The nightclub manager couldn’t afford to offend either side and was afraid they would smash the place up, so he asked them to step outside. Qi Xing didn’t care as he was just there to beat up Ye Wanqi and he didn’t mind doing it in the middle of the street.
Ye Wanqi was pinned to the ground and unable to move because he was already bruised and battered. Qi Xing held an empty wine bottle while repeatedly slapping it against his face: “Last time I told you to roll in the toilet but you still haven’t learned your lesson, huh? Not satisfied, aren't you?”
Ye Wanqi cried out for help and just as Qi Xing was about to hit him again, Yang Kaiming with his sharp eyes, noticed a sports car parked ahead and reminded him: “Qi, it seems someone is coming over there.”
Qi Xing turned his head while squinting at the car for a moment then snorted and shoved the wine bottle into Yang Kaiming’s arms and walked over.
He opened the driver’s door then leaned down with one arm propped against the door and looked at Ye Xingzhou, who was smoking inside: “Ye Xingzhou, you’re really slow to arrive. Yes, you come but you don’t even get out of the car and just hide here to watch the show. I’ve been waiting for you to help me and the food is also getting cold.”
Ye Xingzhou looked at him and indeed, there was a hint of enjoyment in his eyes behind the smoke.
Qi Xing felt displeased and muttered, “You might as well not come, you bastard.”
Ye Xingzhou reached out and pulled him in, wrapping an arm around his waist.
Qi Xing fell into his embrace as his legs were still outside the car and making the position a bit awkward. But he was too lazy to move and just directly snatched the cigarette from Ye Xingzhou’s hand and took a puff before extinguishing it in the ashtray.
“Let go of me. I’m not done teaching your good brother a lesson.”
“I said you don’t need to do it yourself,” Ye Xingzhou tightened his grip on Qi Xing’s wrist, “Is it fun to beat people up?”
Qi Xing frowned: “Damn it, be gentler. My wrist hurts.”
Ye Xingzhou glanced over; Qi Xing’s wrist was indeed a bit red, probably from twisting it while hitting someone. He squeezed it once and then relaxed his grip and helped massage it.
Qi Xing let out a soft sound and finally felt a bit better and stopped resisting.
“What did he do to offend you today?” Ye Xingzhou asked.
Qi Xing shot him a sidelong glance: “Aren’t you going to ask him what good deed he did?”
Ye Xingzhou pinched him again and hearing Qi Xing’s sharp intake of breath, he quickly added before Qi Xing could curse: “I’ll help you deal with him thoroughly.”
Qi Xing raised an eyebrow, surprised that Ye Xingzhou would say that.
Fine, he wouldn’t ask further because he was curious to see how Ye Xingzhou planned to deal with it thoroughly.
After Ye Xingzhou massaged Qi Xing’s wrist a few times, Qi Xing’s thoughts began to wander again. His gaze fell on Ye Xingzhou’s face. Staring at him for a few seconds and once again confirmed that this bastard was indeed quite good-looking and much better than that bartender.
Getting into bed with Ye Xingzhou was indeed very enjoyable, even if some of Ye Xingzhou’s behaviors made him grit his teeth in anger; he still half-heartedly accepted this friends-with-benefits arrangement.
Desire is human nature; after all, he was just an ordinary person.
Ye Xingzhou: “What are you looking at?”
Qi Xing’s fingers hooked onto his glasses: “You’re not even nearsighted, are you? Is it fun to wear glasses all day and pretend to be someone you’re not?”
What’s the use of hiding his true nature behind glasses? A lecher is still a lecher; who is he trying to fool?
Ye Xingzhou grabbed his hand and skillfully rubbed it under his clothes.
Qi Xing gasped: “Let go and stop getting all frisky here.”
Outside the car, Yang Kaiming dropped the wine bottle, dumbfounded.
Hearing the noise, Qi Xing pushed Ye Xingzhou away and crawled out of the car: “What are you doing? So fidgety.”
Yang Kaiming was about to speak when he met Ye Xingzhou’s cold gaze, his legs going weak: “...It’s nothing, you guys continue…..I’ll just leave.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned and walked away while quickening his pace and thought that someone should dig out his own eyes for witnessing that scene.
He originally came over because he was worried that something might happen to Qi Xing but instead, Young Master Qi was casually sitting on a man’s lap while flirting, and the target was Ye Xingzhou.
What was going on?
Thinking about his actions tonight, Yang Kaiming broke out in a cold sweat, regretting it a thousand times over. He absolutely couldn’t let Ye Xingzhou find out!
Qi Xing could guess what Yang Kaiming thought while just looking at him without even thinking. He rolled his eyes and shot a glare at Ye Xingzhou.
Ye Xingzhou gestured to him: “Get in the car, we’re leaving.”
Qi Xing: “I'm not going to your place.”
After being messed around at this beast’s house for a whole night last time, he would rather die than go back.
Ye Xingzhou didn’t care: “Then let’s go to your place?”
Qi Xing: “…”
How can you say that so calmly? Do you even have shame?
