Chapter 2: If Two Shou Meet, One Is Bound To Become A Gong 02

The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)

Yue Chu hadn't stepped foot in a school for many years, so he found the whole experience quite novel. As he walked into the classroom, the students who had been chatting and laughing instantly fell silent. A multitude of eyes, still carrying a hint of youthful innocence, looked at him with interest, a mix of curiosity and strangeness.

When he met their gaze, they quickly looked away and pretended that nothing had happened before continuing their hushed conversations. However, the occasional stolen glances betrayed their hidden thoughts.

Yue Chu placed his backpack on his desk and discovered a cloth pad underneath.

It looked like it hadn't been washed in ages.

He disdainfully lifted the cloth, only to find the desk surface covered in writing.

The handwriting was ugly, resembling a child's scribbles but he could still make out what it said.

He rubbed his fingers on the desk.

The marks were old and faded, showing signs of being wiped away, yet they stubbornly remained that it forced the original host to confront his bullies.

He looked around the classroom and found the desk with the nameplate "Zhao Heng" on it.  Ah, it was clean as if it had never been used. He was very satisfied.

Yue Chu dragged his desk over before exchanging it for Zhao Heng's.

Under the astonished stares of his classmates, he neatly arranged his textbooks and placed them on the desk. He sat up straight while reviewing the lessons he had learned before. Thankfully, it was similar to his previous world, sparing him from having to become illiterate all over again.

The little bear flew out again before peering out the window while excitedly biting its fluffy little paws.

"The protagonists are coming! Host, get ready!"

Yue Chu continued reading his book, seemingly lost in thought but he instructed in a calm voice, "Alright. But you should quickly tell me the story's background."

He didn't even know the names of the two protagonists yet. This system was even more unreliable than he had imagined.

The little bear immediately produced a thick book, put on its glasses and began flipping through it. Soon, it found the story of this strange world.

The story was actually quite simple, just a bit unfriendly. Of course, if it were friendly, there wouldn't be a need to send them to save it.

The story was set in an ABO world, no need for further explanation, everyone knows it.

The protagonist, Gong – Du Guzhou, was an alpha from a prestigious family. Due to his parents' divorce and a strict upbringing, he had a cold and aloof personality and rarely smiled. He came from a military family that inspired him to join the army. He was exceptionally talented and held high hopes by his family. He was destined to become a rising star, barring any unforeseen circumstances. According to the typical novel tropes, he would eventually become one of the five interstellar generals. He was a perfect specimen with only one problem – the protagonist Shou, his arranged marriage partner, Wei Xiayang.

The protagonist, Shou – Wei Xiayang, was the only Omega in the royal family. He was stunningly beautiful, had an arrogant personality and always preferred to be alone. As an Omega, his value in marriage far exceeded his own worth, so he was arranged to be Du Guzhou's future partner shortly after birth. They couldn't be considered to have any passionate love but at least they were relatively harmonious.

The real change came after their marriage.

Wei Xiayang was marked and during his heat cycles, he needed an alpha's pheromones to soothe him. However, Du Guzhou, who was focused on climbing the ranks, was stationed on the front lines and had no time to return. He was tormented by his heat cycles and suffered greatly. The situation worsened over time that it threatened his life and was forced to be escorted to the war zone to find Du Guzhou.

But fate never spared anyone from its cruel games.

The spaceship he was on was hijacked by pirates. How could those savage pirates resist the temptation of a beautiful Omega in heat? His fate plunged into the abyss and the only reason he clung to life was revenge.

For this reason, Wei Xiayang not only destroyed the pirates but also devoted himself to changing the entire ABO structure of society. He wanted to transform all AO’s into B’s and eliminate heat cycles and class divisions, building the world he desired.

To achieve this dream, he defied all opposition  and forcefully ascended to the throne, imprisoned his father and brother, and spent a fortune to build three secret laboratories to silently conduct human experiments.

When Du Guzhou returned, he discovered that his former partner was no longer the person he remembered. They had nothing to say to each other and were just always sitting opposite each other in silence.

Later, he discovered clues about the laboratories and traced them back to Wei Xiayang, the mastermind behind it all.

They engaged in a heated argument and ultimately became sworn enemies.

The long-standing struggle between the military and the royal family brought chaos, plunging the empire into turmoil and even attracting foreign invasion that almost led them to downfall.

As for the final outcome, Wei Xiayang was eventually defeated by Du Guzhou. However, at the last moment of his life, he detonated a quantum bomb and took the entire capital with him. The empire's upper echelon was practically wiped out, causing the nation to rapidly decline and was soon swallowed up till they vanished into the vast universe.

The two protagonists were the main driving forces of the world, so their simultaneous death led to the collapse of the world and resulted in the annihilation of hundreds of millions of lives.

The consequences were severe.

The little bear read the recorded information from the book with a heavy tone before taking off its glasses to wipe away the tears from the corners of its eyes and fluttering its little wings to Yue Chu.

"Please, you must save this world."

While everyone was focused on the two protagonists, Yue Chu gently stroked the little bear's head but he didn't make any promises. Instead, he said, "Don't you think the names of these two protagonists are very unlucky?"

Little Bear: Ah?

Yue Chu: Du Guzhou, clearly destined to be alone and Wei Xiayang, obviously implying that he won't live long. It was destined for tragedy.

Little Bear: Um...

Yue Chu: And look at their personalities, both arrogant and cold that they sit in silence. It's like ‘you don't speak, then I don't speak either’, so how could things not go wrong?

Little Bear: This...

……..

The two protagonists didn't enter the classroom directly and instead, they stood in the hallway while arguing in hushed tones with grim faces.

Yue Chu finally saw their appearances.

It had to be said, the descriptions in the book were spot on. They had fair skin, red lips and white teeth. Tall and slender figures while their eyes exuded arrogance as they moved, of course, they had the capability to be arrogant.

The little bear glanced at Yue Chu, feeling that his gaze was a bit off and couldn't help but fly in front of him to wave its paw.

"Green Tea Survival System activated. Mission one, please use the phrase 'You are so good, why doesn't he appreciate you?' in your dialogue. The word count is unlimited, the style is unlimited, the theme should be high, and the content should closely follow this phrase. The system will score based on the impact on the world. Most importantly, don't be careless! I believe you can do it!"

Yue Chu stared for a long time before slowly getting up and walked towards the two protagonists.

Du Guzhou and Wei Xiayang stood facing each other. They're clearly betrothed to each other, yet seemingly separated by a chasm.

One held back his anger with a chilling coldness while the other concealed his displeasure with arrogant indifference.

Du Guzhou: "Can you stop being so unreasonable?! I don't have time to take you as I have to do morning drills every day."

Du Guzhou couldn't understand why Wei Xiayang insisted on arguing with him about this.

He should know that he simply had no time.

Wei Xiayang pursed his lips as his beautiful face seemed to be shrouded in a layer of gray that was somewhat dull.

Despite being betrothed, they rarely had time together, so what was the point of it all? Du Guzhou always told him he had no time but all he wanted was a little bit of time together.

Wei Xiayang lowered his eyes: "Then forget it."

However, even though he said this, he still hoped that Du Guzhou would understand his sarcasm.  But what he got was Du Guzhou's relieved expression, which truly made his mood plummet.

Yue Chu took the opportunity to step forward and naturally interjected, "Your Highness, I can pick you up and drop you off every day."

Wei Xiayang's cat-like eyes held undisguised disdain.

What was this person doing here?

He disliked Yue Chu, who is always crying and whining.

He cried when he was bullied, cried when he couldn't finish his homework and even cried when he fell. Was he made of water?

Instead of crying uselessly, he should go live by the sea to contribute some salt water to the ocean. But today, Yue Chu seemed a little more pleasing to the eye, at least his back was straight with his eyes clear and no longer had that timid and cowardly air about him.

Wei Xiayang subtly raised an eyebrow and abandoned his laziness to assume a fighting stance.

What? The delicate flower of the Yue family finally woke up and decided to compete with him for this person?

Interesting.

But he was not afraid of any challenge, especially if his opponent is just some weak and delicate omega.

Du Guzhou frowned slightly while taking a step back to avoid any interaction with Yue Chu. Although he disliked Wei Xiayang, he respected their engagement, and if there were no unforeseen circumstances, they would be together for life.

Moreover, he disliked Yue Chu even more. A weak Omega would only bring him trouble and he didn't have the time to care for and protect him.

In terms of appearance, Yue Chu actually had an advantage.

It wasn't that he was more beautiful than Wei Xiayang but his appearance was less aggressive. Just one look and you would know that he was a gentle beauty. This kind of person had both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage was that it was easy to lower people's guard but the disadvantage was obvious, he was easy to be bullied.

They say you don't hit a smiling person, at least Wei Xiayang was still giving him face by standing there until Yue Chu spoke.

Yue Chu: "Is this Your Highness's fiancé?"

Wei Xiayang coldly replied: "Who else could it be? You wouldn't know, would you?"

Yue Chu: "He didn't even help you with your backpack."

Wei Xiayang glanced at the backpack in his hand and wrinkled his nose in disgust: He wasn't an invalid that he needed someone else to help him with his backpack.

Yue Chu: "The sun is so strong outside but he didn't even hold an umbrella for you. Your face is all red from the sun, does it hurt?"

Wei Xiayang sneered. He could tell that this guy was trying to stir up trouble but does he think that these little tricks would make him fall for it? If he was, then this Yue Chu was so stupid that he didn't know what to say.

Yue Chu stepped forward to quickly snatched the backpack from Wei Xiayang's hands and placed it on the desk. He took out the books and neatly stacked them with his shy smile yet sweet. "You are so good but he doesn't even cherish you. I'll help you with your backpack and umbrella in the future, okay?"

The little bear slammed to the ground with a thud. Its limbs were twitching and its eyes rolled that it was almost suffocated from anger. But compared to the mission, what did anger matter? It quickly got up from the ground with its spirit unbroken and flew in front of Yue Chu while holding a megaphone and yelling at him.

"You are an O! Omega! Your green tea target should be the A, which is Du Guzhou and not Wei Xiayang! Do you even know what it means of ‘opposites attract’? Wei Xiayang can't get your green tea art skills!"

Yue Chu pretended not to hear its roar and gentlemanly pulled out a chair, waiting for Wei Xiayang to sit down.

Wei Xiayang was disgusted and thought he was hallucinating. However, he looked around and saw that everyone was struck by lightning, so he knew that everyone also thought that what Yue Chu said was crazy.

Wei Xiayang: "Are you sick?"

Heh, this move was brilliant.

A delicate and noble Omega who is holding an umbrella and carrying his bag, for sure that tomorrow rumors were as if he was bullying Wei Xiayang and would spread like wildfire, effectively ruining his reputation. Then, Yue Chu would naturally take advantage of the situation to win over Du Guzhou.

Yue Chu coughed lightly, still with his sweet smile, "How do you know I'm sick? Thank you for being so concerned about me but I'm fine. I just stayed in the bathroom all night last night, so maybe I caught a cold but I'll just take some medicine and I'll be fine."

Wei Xiayang's face turned cold as his focus instantly shifted from Yue Chu's madness to being locked up.

Locked in the bathroom all night? Who dared to do this to a delicate Omega?!

The little bear weakly raised its paw: Host, wrong, wrong...

Yue Chu, taking advantage of turning around, bumped the little bear away with his shoulder and quietly sat back in his seat. Seeing that Wei Xiayang was still looking at him coldly, he gave a smile and raised the textbook in his hand, indicating that the class was about to start and he needed to do some pre-class preparation.

Wei Xiayang snorted coldly and sat down in his seat.

Hypocritical guy!

As if everybody doesn't know that Yue Chu doesn't like studying at all but still pretends to love it.

But he really had to investigate Yue Chu's matter. Someone dared to do such a terrible thing under his nose means that they didn't take him seriously.

Wei Xiayang didn't care about the things happening in the classroom as he preferred to be alone and the only person who followed him was Du Guzhou, but that was because of the marriage between their families. So, he really didn't know that Yue Chu was always being bullied.

Seeing that the two of them had sat down, Du Guzhou had no choice but to put down his backpack as well. He didn't take this little incident to heart because whether it was Wei Xiayang or Yue Chu, they were both not particularly important people in his life. He could dedicate ten percent of his attention to them but the remaining ninety percent was all for glory, for the empire.
