The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)
When Yue Chu reached the door of the room, his footsteps paused slightly.
His excellent vision allowed him to see clearly even in the night. He bent down to pick up the golden porcelain bottle on the ground then opened it, and took a light sniff. He couldn't help but freeze—inside was the blood of the Blood Clan's king.
Others might not be able to tell, but Yue Chu, who had once bitten Lafa, clearly remembered this scent. The blood of the Blood Clan's king was surprisingly sweet, with a hint of rose fragrance, making him feel a sense of nostalgia.
He caressed the smooth surface of the bottle and the golden lines swirl elegantly. The smile on his lips deepened, and his eyes shimmered with ripples of joy.
Yue Chu didn't hold back. His injuries were far more severe than Salu's, and he had thought he would need several days of rest. But now, it seems unnecessary.
He opened the bottle and drank the blood in one gulp. Abundant energy nourished his entire body, soothing all his wounds.
Yue Chu's eyes gleamed as he gazed at the towering castle in the center. He pocketed the bottle carefully.
Lafa slowly opened his eyes. Did this lively little guy think he could hide himself without anyone noticing?
He waved his hand, and the shadows that had begun to emerge around him retreated.
Perhaps he had come to thank him, or perhaps to complain, but Lafa had no interest in either. He raised his eyes with boredom, his crimson gaze icy in the darkness.
However, the footsteps stopped outside the door while hesitatingly pacing back and forth a few times before finally coming to a halt. Moments later, they quietly ran away.
Lafa propped his head on his hand with his eyes, more dazzling than the fires of hell, fixed on the door like a statue.
Moments later, a black shadow swiftly passed by, and with a clang of the door, Lafa was back on his throne while holding a small silver-white flower in his hand.
Lafa quietly looked at the Moonlight Flower in his hand. It was a unique plant of the Blood Clan, blooming only at night with its silver petals glowing in harmony with the moonlight, exquisitely beautiful.
He couldn't resist reaching out to gently touch the delicate petals. His black nails brushed against the pure flower, tainting it with a hint of darkness.
Lafa hadn't expected Yue Chu to sneak all the way here just to give him a Moonlight Flower. Didn't he worry that he might not see it? Or that he wouldn't guess it was from him?
Such an innocent child.
But perhaps this was a rare surprise.
Lafa brought the Moonlight Flower to his nose and sniffed it lightly. But alas...
He slowly crushed the flower with his fingers, then opened his hand. Tiny silver specks flew out from his palm, only to fall weakly onto the cold floor and disappear.
Lafa slowly closed his crimson eyes, and the throne was once again enveloped in darkness.
………
"Feilin, Dila."
Yue Chu greeted the two with a smile before pulling out a chair with intricate patterns and sitting down.
He took out yesterday's notes to review.
Moonlight streamed through the window, and the warm yellow light, like a raised candle, illuminated the spacious classroom.
The desks and chairs in the classroom were arranged in two rows, with one filled with people and the other occupied only by Yue Chu. Yet the whispering Blood Clan members couldn't help but glance over, drawn by his elegant profile.
Feilin merely curved her red lips slightly, not responding to Yue Chu's greeting. Dila turned his face away and pretended not to see, though heaven knew he was just too flustered and was afraid others might see through his thoughts from his restless gaze.
They had been studying together for over a month now.
From initially dismissing Yue Chu's greetings to now being accustomed to them, they hadn't expected this pureblood to treat it merely as courtesy rather than an attempt to win them over.
Class was about to start, and Feilin couldn't help but frown. This was already the fourth time Prince Xino had skipped class. The previous times, they had managed to come up with excuses, but if this continued, the teacher would eventually notice something was wrong.
Feilin: "Do you know what His Highness has been up to lately?"
Dila quickly shook his head, indicating he didn't know. He had actually asked the Prince, but had been brushed off with a few words. Seeing the impatience on the Prince's face, he hadn't dared to press further.
Feilin pursed her red lips while her crimson nails tapped lightly on the desk, mirroring her restless heart.
Yue Chu glanced over indifferently and used the motion of flipping through his book to swat away the small bear that had floated close to him. Indeed, Xino must have already met that human girl. A prince in love could hardly control his passionate heart and sneaked out at every opportunity.
He wondered if Xino would be so lucky today, easily escaping the teacher's inspection.
Blood Clan Elder Rotz stood at the podium.
He was skilled in academic research, and aside from handling daily affairs, spent most of his time reading and studying. Thus, he was responsible for imparting knowledge to young Blood Clan members, a respected master. Though handsome, he always wore a stern expression, and coupled with his authoritative status, it made the young Blood Clan members somewhat fearful.
Now, dressed in a light blue robe with his hawk-like sharp eyes swept across the classroom, he easily notices Xino's absence once again.
Rotz's face darkened, and he directly called on Feilin to report why Prince Xino was absent this time.
Feilin's scalp tingle.
Reliable excuses were few, and now she had to come up with another one, putting her in a difficult spot. But the clever female Blood Clan member quickly racked her brains and tried to cover for her respected Prince.
Feilin: "His Highness went to..."
But before she could finish, Rotz sharply interrupted and his knife-like gaze mercilessly cut into Feilin, forcing her to shrink her shoulders and lower her head in shame.
Rotz: "Enough! I don't want to hear your lame excuses! Why is Prince Xino absent?!"
The beautiful female Blood Clan member felt the questioning gazes from all around. As one of the two Blood Clan members closest to the Prince, her actions were undoubtedly subject to criticism. Being chosen to serve by the prince's side, Feilin had always been the best. But now, she couldn't lift her head to face the mocking gazes.
Feilin clenched her fists and whispered, "I don't know..."
Rotz: "Louder!"
Feilin felt utterly humiliated.
If not for the responsibility on her shoulders keeping her rooted in place, she would have wanted to flee this suffocating scene immediately.
Feilin: "I..."
Yue Chu raised his hand: "Teacher, I think I saw His Highness."
“?”
Not only Rotz, but even Feilin looked over in surprise. How was that possible?!
Rotz frowned deeply and the pressure in his crimson eyes coldly directed at Yue Chu.
He didn't like lying children.
Yue Chu stood up then respectfully bowed to Rotz with a gentle smile on his lips like a May breeze, instantly softening the tense atmosphere.
His eyes were soft and bright, meeting Rotz's gaze without hesitation, sincere as a blood moon gemstone and free of any impurities.
Yue Chu: "I saw Prince Xino heading towards His Majesty's castle. Perhaps His Majesty had something to discuss with him. If you're worried, Teacher, you could inquire with His Majesty, and then everyone would be at ease."
With that, Yue Chu raised his notes and said with a light laugh, "I've been looking forward to your explanation of the Five Pillars Crimson Blood Magic Array so much that I barely slept yesterday. I can't wait for class to start."
At this, the Blood Clan members couldn't help but laugh, and even Rotz's expression softened slightly.
Rotz: "I will confirm with His Majesty. And all of you, unless there are special circumstances, skipping class without reason is absolutely not allowed, understood?"
The Blood Clan members immediately responded loudly, "Yes!"
Feilin and Dila exchanged glances and both saw the disbelief in each other's eyes.
They were certain the Prince hadn't gone to see His Majesty, but Yue Chu's confident demeanor made them waver slightly.
Feilin looked at Yue Chu, who gave her a gentle wink, as if telling her not to worry.
She was slightly taken aback, and unconsciously smoothed her fluffy, slightly curled long hair. The earlier embarrassment slowly faded, and she couldn't help but curve her lips into a radiant, flower-like smile.
Yue Chu wasn't afraid of being exposed, because the Blood Clan's king, who seemed strict but was actually indulgent and completely incapable of raising children, would definitely cover for Xino.
Sure enough, Rotz soon returned with a calm expression and allowed Feilin to sit down.
Feilin glanced at Yue Chu, who was already engrossed in his studies, and silently thanked him in her heart. No matter what, she owed him a favor today.
But...
Feilin's expression turned cold, like a frost-covered snow lotus, exuding the chill of a snowy peak.
Where on earth had the prince gone?
