Chapter 46: Everyone in the World is My Spare Tire 01

The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)

Anna quietly returned to her residence and closed the door behind her.

The trap had been set, and even if someone investigated, it wouldn’t lead back to her.

As for Xino… she thought indifferently, he was the Prince of the Blood Clan. Even if he were implicated, he wouldn’t face severe punishment.

Feeling justified, Anna turned around, only to be startled by the person sitting there.

When did Xino arrive?!

Xino sat by the table, where the roses Anna had picked were placed.

The delicate petals were adorned with morning dew, glistening and radiantly beautiful.

He had never understood why Anna loved roses.

In his eyes, the pure and lovely lily suited her better. Only now did he seem to grasp that this vibrant, passionate, yet thorny flower was a reflection of Anna’s true nature—though her thorns were far more venomous and ruthless.

"Why?" Xino’s voice was hoarse and almost choked on his words.

His fists clenched tightly as his sharp nails pierced his palms, drawing blood, yet he seemed oblivious. His Blood Eyes stared at Anna, filled with the agony of betrayal and despair.

Why did you frame me? How could you be so indifferent while pushing me to my death?

Anna steadied herself as her pure and delicate features now tinged with fragile helplessness.

Her small, fair hands gently clutched her skirt as a single tear rolled down her cheek, carrying an unbearable sorrow that evoked pity.

In a soft, trembling voice, she said, "I’m sorry… I’m truly sorry. I just had no choice…"

She took two steps forward before kneeling beside Xino and tightly grasped his hand. Her tearful eyes shook as she pleaded, "I really didn’t want to do this. They forced me…"

Xino was momentarily stunned with his heart swaying back. "Who threatened you? Why didn’t you tell me? No matter who it was, I would have resolved it for you."

A flicker of hesitation and fear crossed Anna’s face. She bit her lip lightly, then lowered her gaze as her voice trembled like a fragile bird. "It was Prince Yue Chu."

"He deeply resents you for overshadowing him. To frame you, he used my past to coerce me into doing these things. I was too afraid to let you know about my history, and in my fear, I foolishly agreed."

"I’m sorry, I’m sorry… I was out of my mind, I didn’t know what I was doing. I love you so much, I was afraid you’d abandon me, Xino…"

The young girl sobbed and lifted her delicate face in supplication. Her long lashes were still damp with tears as her petite chest rose and fell slightly. From every angle, she was perfectly captivating.

Xino stared at her with his expression inscrutable, and for a moment, he didn’t offer comfort.

Anna’s heart skipped a beat, and a sense of foreboding washed over her.

It seemed everything had subtly shifted off course.

Just then, a soft chuckle broke the silence.

Yue Chu, sitting on the windowsill, turned his face leisurely as his sword-like brow slightly raised. "I’m really like a brick, moved wherever I’m needed."

He hopped down gracefully before walking over to Xino’s side.

After admiring Anna’s enchanting face for a moment, he clicked his tongue twice.

What a formidable woman.

If he hadn’t already warned Xino, that fool would probably have believed her again.

What a pity…

Yue Chu sighed.

If it weren’t for the mission, he might have let Anna return to the human empire. She would have made a perfect pawn.

It was a pity for his infatuated elder brother, who fell in love with a woman solely driven by ambition for power.

Yue Chu had already uncovered Anna's schemes.

This seemingly delicate woman was far more formidable than Xino; she was the true protagonist of this world.

As the Holy Maiden of the Holy See, Anna was unwilling to be controlled by the Cardinal. Thus, she secretly contacted the Pope and presented a plan to sow discord within the Blood Clan.

First, she would seduce Xino, then feign her death to frame the Blood Clan and cause a rift between the two factions.

Afterward, the Pope would arrange a new, noble identity for her before sending her to the side of the Second Prince as a noblewoman.

Yue Chu recalled the world setting Little Bear had shown him.

The Pope had underestimated Anna's ambition.

How could such a woman be content with merely being a princess?

Her gaze was fixed on the throne with her ambitions boundless.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the Emperor's death was likely connected to her as well.

It was a shame the system's information was so lacking and not delving into such details.

But he estimated that once the Second Prince ascended the throne, Anna would find a way to bear his child and then pursue her grand ambitions.

The poor Second Prince probably wouldn’t live long and just serve as a pawn even more pitiful than Xino.

Anna was truly exceptional; in some ways, Xino didn’t deserve her. Yet, from an emotional perspective, she didn’t deserve Xino either.

These two were on entirely different planes, yet they insisted on falling in love that were destined for tragedy.

When Anna saw him, she leaned closer to Xino in fear as her large eyes filled with unspoken words, her intentions clear.

Xino lovingly embraced her and held her protectively in his arms, though his eyes were devoid of all light, lifeless and cold.

Yue Chu feigned pity and sighed, "If it weren’t for your hatred of the Blood Clan, being Xino's princess wouldn’t have been so bad. What a shame..."

A glint of something dark flashed in Anna's eyes as she nervously blinked her lashes while clinging tightly to Xino. She whispered, "I don’t understand what you mean, Your Highness, but it was indeed you who threatened me to frame Prince Xino. I... I swear to the gods, every word I’ve said is true."

Yue Chu shrugged with a leisurely smile playing on his lips and showing no concern.

He had already shown Xino all the evidence, but Xino still refused to believe it.

So, he had made a bet with him.

From the moment Anna appeared, he had already won.

Yue Chu deliberately advised, "Xino, since you love her, why not turn a blind eye? From now on, she won’t have any contact with the Holy See. Let her be your Princess in peace."

Xino slowly lowered his head to tenderly caress Anna's face with his expression still filled with the deep, unwavering affection she was familiar with.

Anna felt slightly reassured as her beautiful eyes grew even more sincere and captivating.

Yet, in the next moment, Xino's sharp claws pierced through Anna's heart!

He stared at her face with tears in his eyes and his lips trembling, but he remained resolute as he ended the life of his beloved.

Anna's eyes widened in disbelief, and with a gush, she spat out a mouthful of blood.

The bright red blood stained her white dress, like a vast rose blooming on snow, a tragic yet stunning beauty.

Xino let out a heart-wrenching cry as he pulled Anna into his arms and kept stroking her soft golden hair while weeping like a child.

He had personally killed the one he loved most!

But behind the pain, there was a strange sense of satisfaction.

Xino knew that from now on, his Anna would never go to great lengths to leave him again.

They had merged into one, destined to be together forever.

Xino laughed and cried hysterically, then disappeared with Anna's body in his arms.

He would choose a place to sleep eternally, where in the sweet darkness of dreams, he and Anna would live happily together.

Yue Chu sighed softly before he took a rose from his sleeve, and placed it on the chair where the two had just been sitting.

The sunlight fell on the rose, its tender petals unfurling, exuding vitality and vigor, much like this beautiful world.

Not long after they were together, Lafa announced that he would pass the throne to Yue Chu and, despite everyone's opposition, formed a partnership with him.

Because the King of the Blood Clan had never fallen into slumber, an eerie peace had been achieved among the three clans.

"Yue Chu, successfully rescued the second world—'Devoured by Love'.

Green Tea Score: 96 points.

Worldline Rescue Degree: 73 points.

Plot Exploration Degree: 98 points.

Overall Rating: Well done, keep it up!"

Yue Chu tapped on the Worldline Rescue Degree and asked the system, "Is it because the world will still face a crisis of destruction after Lafa and I fall into slumber that I only got seventy points?"

Little Bear flipped through the backend data and shook his head, "That's not the case. As long as the most dangerous hurdle is overcome, this world won't face a crisis of destruction. Of course, in such a vast world, trials are inevitable."

At this point, Little Bear frowned with worry.

How could the score not be low? The peace of this world was entirely bought at the cost of sacrificing the two protagonists.

Tragic, truly tragic.

Little Bear pitifully said, "Host, can't you be a bit kinder to the protagonists..."

Yue Chu curled his lips.

Hadn't he been kind enough to the protagonists? At least they were clearly together now and never to part again.

Alright, he stretched and waited for Little Bear to take him into the next world.

When Yue Chu woke up again, he smelled the scent of disinfectant, and his eyes were met with a blinding white, so clean it was unsettling.

A huge incandescent light shone overhead that forced him to raise his arm to shield his eyes, but tears still streamed from the corners.

He sat up straight, and the gray coat covering him slipped to the floor. He bent over to pick it up and pat off the dust.

The room was not large, it was even somewhat cramped.

A space of less than twenty square meters held only a bed, with a bathroom in the corner. Everywhere was white, and staring at it for too long made his eyes uncomfortable.

Yue Chu walked into the bathroom to wash his hands, and looked at himself in the mirror before touching his dark circles with wet fingers.

It seemed life hadn't been very peaceful.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

He casually slicked back his slightly long bangs with water, revealing a smooth forehead, then dried his hands and went to open the door.

Outside stood two people, one in a white lab coat and the other a guard holding a gun.

The one in the lab coat was slightly taken aback upon seeing him but quickly composed himself and politely said, "Professor Yue, Dr. Lan requests your presence."

Yue Chu straightened his sleeves, nodded with a smile, and followed him without any resistance.

The man in the white coat looked at him suspiciously.

Yue Chu had been terrified these past few days, hiding in his room and refusing to come out. Why had he suddenly changed today?

The circular corridor was illuminated by rings of light that create a low, oppressive atmosphere.

Staring at it for too long could even induce dizziness.

The long passageway abruptly disappeared at the end and made a sharp 90-degree turn to the other side, where the space finally opened up.

Yue Chu subtly surveyed his surroundings and noticed that there were cameras everywhere that recorded every angle of the comings and goings without any blind spots.

The level of technological advancement here was far inferior to that of the Star Empire, but according to Little Bear's background information, this was already one of the most advanced research institutes in this world.

The man in the white coat swiped his ID card to open the silver metal door before he gestured for Yue Chu to enter, and then stayed outside.

Yue Chu walked in calmly, and upon seeing the person in front of him, he raised an eyebrow slightly.

Not bad, everyone was here on the first day.

Both protagonists, the main antagonist, and the minor antagonist.

However, the level of attractiveness was quite high.

Yue Chu's gaze swept over the group, and the smile on his lips grew even more gentle.

Translator:

I'm kinda sad for our world protagonist because they didn't have a happy ending but anyway, we are now in the third world!

Guess the setting of this world folks.
