Chapter 207: A Mo: Doing something bad

Marshal, Please Calm Down (MARSHAL)

Scott and Wu Zimo's subsequent journey went smoothly, although Wu Zimo keenly noticed that there were more eyes watching them. However, as long as those people didn’t get in their way, they could watch all they wanted.

The next day, when they left Tyche Planet, the Chief Executive of Tyche Planet personally came out to see them off. Seeing the sincere look in the Chief Executive's eyes, Wu Zimo felt that he was genuinely happy to see them go.

It wasn’t surprising, after all.

Scott was a hot potato, and now that he was finally leaving the Chief Executive’s territory, how could he not be happy?

Among the people seeing them off, Wu Zimo didn’t see Prince Maijia. He didn’t know if the Prince was too embarrassed to show up or if it was something else, but it was better that he didn’t come. Not only Scott, but even Wu Zimo himself couldn’t be bothered to deal with Prince Maijia.

From the looks of it, Prince Maijia was one of the insiders who knew about the existence of the research lab. After reviewing the lab’s data, Wu Zimo felt nothing but contempt for the Mola Empire, which had created such inhumane experiments.

Human desires truly knew no bounds and to the point where they could even discard their humanity.

While Wu Zimo was on the Alman Battleship and watching Tyche Planet fade into the distance, Prince Maijia was also watching the departing Alman Battleship from the Mola Empire’s royal palace on the planet.

“Your Highness Maijia, are we really just letting Scott Alman and his group leave like this?” A servant standing behind Prince Maijia cautiously asked.

Prince Maijia raised the corner of his mouth and snorted, “What else can we do?”

Recalling his experience on the Alman Battleship the day before, Prince Maijia crushed the crystal glass in his hand.

As the third in line to the throne of the Mola Empire, he had been humiliated by a Guide. It was only natural for him to be furious.

But he couldn’t retaliate because that Guide had Scott Alman, the strongest interstellar sentinel, backing him.

As Prince Maijia watched the Alman Battleship disappear into the distance, a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

He liked the phrase that had come from the Federation: “Revenge is a dish best served cold.”

“What about those Federation people?”

Shifting the topic away from Scott and his group, Prince Maijia asked the servant behind him.

Since he couldn’t touch Scott Alman and his people, there was another group of Federation individuals he could deal with.

Moreover, this group was seeking to pledge their allegiance to him, so they would surely have to pay some price. He just wondered if they had anything that would please him.

“Your Highness, they have already arrived at your territory, Lier Planet. They are awaiting your audience.” As Prince Maijia’s trusted aide, the servant quickly responded.

“They arrived so soon? Let them wait for a while and have Will remind them of what they should say.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

The Federation people Prince Maijia was referring to were Cui Yi, the Feng Family Head, and his daughter Feng Yan’er.

That’s right.

Not only had Cui Yi fled to the Mola Empire, but the Feng father and daughter had also followed him there.

Cui Yi had managed to escape during the heavily guarded escort thanks to the help of the Feng family. Without their assistance, he would never have been able to escape.

A starved camel is still bigger than a horse.

Although the Feng family had fallen from grace, they still retained some of their former glory. However, the current head of the Feng family, instead of leveraging this legacy to revive the family, was swayed by Feng Yan'er's words and abandoned the family's millennia-old foundation and committe an act of treason.

To be honest, it's baffling what this father-daughter pair with questionable judgment was thinking.

On the return journey aboard the Alman Battleship, Wu Zimo listened as Scott recounted recent events, and only a look of stunned disbelief could convey his feelings.

"What about the rest of the Feng family?"

The Feng family head had fled with their hidden forces and his daughter, but what about the other Feng family members left behind?

It wasn't that Wu Zimo was particularly compassionate, but the actions of the Feng father and daughter were simply too unscrupulous.

If they were going to run, they should have taken everyone with them.

Ahem, this thought Wu Zimo kept to himself and would never tell Scott...

"Those who were aware have been detained, and those who were unaware have been dispersed."

Wu Zimo nodded.

Well, this outcome was probably for the best.

The Federation had long moved past the practice of collective punishment. Although the Feng family had questionable judgment, as long as they didn't cause trouble for him, it was fine.

"What about the Cui family?"

Wu Zimo hadn't forgotten Cui Yi, the main culprit.

Honestly, even now, Wu Zimo couldn't figure out where he had offended Cui Yi.

Wasn't the grudge with the Mocca family? How did he, a small fry, get entangled in the murky waters of these aristocratic families?

"The Garrison Corps is compiling evidence and waiting to bring them to military court."

The Cui family was different from the Feng family.

Although the Feng family had questionable judgment, they were still loyal to the Federation, at least in their belief that "those who are not of our kind must have different intentions."

But the Cui family was different.

Few in the main lineage of the Cui family were clean.

Once the evidence was compiled, they would be sent to military court. Even if they didn't receive the death penalty for treason, they would be exiled to the Prison Star.

However, compared to the terrifying hell of the Prison Star, death might actually be a form of relief.

Wu Zimo had no sympathy for the Cui family's fate. He would never forget the disruption Cui Yi caused at his wedding!

How many weddings does one have in a lifetime? On such an important day, this guy had the audacity to cause trouble. Cui Yi should be glad he fled to the Mola Empire, or Wu Zimo would never have let him off so easily.

After this battle, the threatening forces within the Federation had been largely eradicated.

As for the small fry, they still had some use, which is why Xuanyuan Chengtian and the others hadn't completely wiped them out.

After listening to Scott's analysis, Wu Zimo breathed a sigh of relief. "Good, now we don't have to be on edge all the time and be held back by these troublesome people."

Because of those parasites and those with ulterior motives, Scott and his team always had to tread carefully. Now, without these obstructive elements in the way, and those with ulterior motives but no courage that were intimidated, the Federation, under the support of Scott and his team, would surely prosper even more.

With the Federation's affairs settled for the time being, Wu Zimo thought of the Mola Empire. He patted the hand resting on his waist and looked up at Scott, who was holding him from behind.

"Will you make the research facility public?"

"Yes." This question required no thought. Scott looked down at Wu Zimo sitting in his arms and answered directly.

Upon hearing Scott's nod, Wu Zimo's eyes immediately lit up, and he eagerly asked, "When?"

"Rocard and the others are already preparing."

Although Scott and his team had rescued the experimental subjects captured by the research facility and destroyed the above-ground structures of the lab, the core of the research facility remained largely

unscathed.

Surprisingly, none of the researchers were encountered during the battle with the guards, perhaps out of fear for their lives.

This meant that no matter how many times Scott and his team destroyed the lab's buildings, as long as the researchers remained, the facility would never truly disappear.

While the lab primarily targeted people from the Mola Empire, there was no guarantee that they wouldn't eventually turn their attention to the Federation.

To prevent future threats, the lab had to be eradicated!

Hearing that Rocard had already begun preparations, Wu Zimo chuckled with his eyes shining brighter than the room's lights.

"Scott, can I do a little mischief first?" Wu Zimo asked while raising his hand to gesture just how small this "little mischief" would be.

Seeing Wu Zimo's expression, Scott's silver eyes darkened slightly and his arm around Wu Zimo's waist tightened. With a slightly hoarse voice, he nodded in approval, "Go ahead."

"Really?"

Completely oblivious to Scott's subtle change, Wu Zimo, upon seeing Scott's nod, thought of the code he had previously written on which could now be released openly.

He had wanted to do this ever since witnessing the inhumane experiments in the lab.

Delighted, Wu Zimo was about to open his Light Brain and release the program when suddenly, Scott pounced on him before pinning him down on the sofa.

Blinking in confusion, Wu Zimo looked up at Scott, who was now on top of him. But before he could say anything, his lips were covered by a soft, warm pressure.

Though unsure of what was happening, Wu Zimo had no time to think about programs or viruses now.

Pushing aside all other thoughts, he wrapped his arms around Scott's neck before parting his lips to allow the softness exploring his lips to easily take control.

Wu Zimo's initiative stemmed from the fact that, due to the lab incident, they hadn't been intimate for a while.

As the saying goes, "Food and sex are human nature".

Wu Zimo was no saint, and with such a handsome Marshal in front of him, it was impossible to remain indifferent.

The sofa they were lying on, though not small, wasn't exactly suitable for any indecent activities. Unless the Marshal suddenly felt like indulging in some sofa play, the bedroom's large bed would be far more comfortable.

Scott kissed Wu Zimo until his eyes were hazy and his breathing became rapid before finally releasing him. Standing up from the sofa, Scott scooped up the now-soft Wu Zimo with one arm and strode toward the bedroom.

Knowing what was about to happen, Wu Zimo didn't play hard to get.

Seizing the brief moment he had, he quickly opened his Light Brain and sent a command to the Heaven Wrath Corps' Master Control System.

Upon receiving Wu Zimo's command, the Master Control System, which had been diligently working at the Heaven Wrath Corps headquarters, immediately became excited.

【Rest assured, idol!】

Being able to work for its idol, the Master Control System was naturally thrilled and went full throttle to ensure that not a single error was allowed. However, the diligent Master Control System was unaware that its idol was currently engaged in some activities with a male god that couldn't be described below the neck and required the lights to be turned off.

But whether the Master Control System knew or not was irrelevant.

Once activated, it caused the upper echelons of the Mola Empire to feel extremely frustrated and furious.

They were eager to find the person behind the leak and subject them to some form of extreme punishment, like dismemberment or being drawn and quartered.

Just when they thought they could suppress the incidents in the research lab and had recaptured many of the escaped experimental subjects, and believing that everything was under control, the sudden explosion of videos and detailed information on the StarNetwork nearly drove the high-ranking nobles responsible for the StarNetwork to prepare their wills and consider self-destruction.
