Online Dating Fiasco with the Campus Heartthrob (DATING)
Gu Zhao let out a low, triumphant chuckle and released Ji Su's lips.
Instead, his tall nose pressed against the soft flesh of Ji Su's cheek before slowly inching toward his lips.
The scorching breath was so close that Ji Su's heart raced, almost suffocating him. He couldn't help but turn his face away.
He felt the breathing beside him pause, and then a large hand gripped his chin that forced him to turn back.
Gu Zhao stared at him, his voice hoarse even in a whisper. "You crossed the line first."
First, he invited him into bed, then draped his leg over him—it was as if he had no guard up at all.
Ji Su knew he was at fault and bit his lower lip, unsure of what to say.
Gu Zhao rubbed the plump, moist lips with his thumb, then his long, strong fingers pushed past the seam of Ji Su's lips and slipped inside.
"Mmm..." Ji Su let out a soft moan as he instinctively tried to push the finger out with his tongue, but it only gave Gu Zhao the chance to trap his tongue.
Gu Zhao's eyes darkened as his knuckles flexed as he slowly stirred inside the warm, wet mouth.
Ji Su was forced to keep his lips parted, and a trail of clear saliva slid down the corner of his mouth with his eyes misting over with a physiological haze.
Gu Zhao's Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hard, unable to hold back.
Maybe because his brother was sleeping on the neighboring bed, the person in his hands didn't dare struggle, leaving him completely at Gu Zhao's mercy. It was as if he could do even more outrageous things to him.
The gaze fixed on him was too intense, too invasive.
Ji Su felt both ashamed and afraid, so he could only place his palm over the back of Gu Zhao's hand to silently plead for mercy.
Gu Zhao's eyes were bloodshot, and he fiercely tugged at his reddened tongue before finally withdrawing his damp fingers.
Ji Su felt a wave of relief and, to prevent him from teasing him again, he simply buried his face in his chest.
Unbeknownst to him, the bathrobe on Gu Zhao's chest had already come undone, and he ended up brushing against his scorching pectoral muscles without any barrier.
Gu Zhao let out a muffled groan, his voice low and hoarse as he sighed, "You're really torturing me..."
Ji Su's cheeks instantly flushed crimson, and he quickly rolled out of his embrace before turning his back to him.
A few seconds later, with a creak, Gu Zhao got up and left the bed.
Ji Su secretly turned his face back to watch as Gu Zhao walked into the bathroom, soon followed by the sound of running water.
In the past, he might not have understood why Gu Zhao was taking another shower, but now he didn't need to guess...
Ji Su closed his eyes as his snow-white neck also tinged with a beautiful blush.
Fortunately, Gu Zhao's shower lasted long enough for his drowsiness to return, and his eyelids grew heavier and heavier.
When Gu Zhao emerged from the bathroom, he saw the slender figure curled up at the edge of the bed, looking pitiful.
He walked to the bedside to gently turn him back and tuck him in, then lay down himself.
Gu Zhao lay on his side with one arm pillowed behind his neck and his deep gaze fixed unwaveringly on the sleeping face.
It was as if he could watch him like this forever, never tiring.
……..
The next morning, when Ji Su woke up, he found himself alone in the bed.
He blinked in confusion as his consciousness returned as he sat up.
"Brother, you're awake!" Ji Chen, noticing he was awake, excitedly leaned over his bed to look at him.
"Yeah," Ji Su responded with his eyes meeting those of the person sitting on the couch.
All the details from the night before suddenly flooded his mind, and his fair ears turned red again.
"Good morning," Gu Zhao said calmly before standing up. "Let's freshen up and then check out."
After checking out, the three of them went to a nearby breakfast shop.
During breakfast, Ji Su asked, "Xiao Chen, where do you want to go today?"
"I'm fine with anything!" Ji Chen flashed a sunny smile. "As long as I'm with you, brother, I'm happy to do anything!"
Gu Zhao paused before glancing at him.
"Then let's take you back to the school and continue exploring," Ji Su thought for a moment. "You really like A University, don't you?"
Ji Chen nodded eagerly, "Yes, yes!"
So they returned to the campus to visit the library and other places.
After lunch at the cafeteria, Gu Zhao received a message from the basketball club and had to go to the gymnasium for practice.
Ji Chen, who was also very interested in basketball, eagerly followed him to the gymnasium.
Gu Zhao changed into a black basketball jersey, the short sleeves revealing his well-defined arm muscles. As soon as he stepped onto the court, he drew cheers from the onlookers.
Ji Su sat in the front row of the spectator seats, with Ji Chen beside him, who said enviously, "Brother Gu Zhao is not only tall but also has such well-built muscles!"
Ji Su smiled and comforted him, "If you eat well and exercise, you'll grow up to be like that too."
"Really?" Ji Chen immediately perked up. "Brother, do you really think I can become like that?"
"Yes," Ji Su's gaze unconsciously followed the tall figure on the court, and he casually replied, "You can."
Ji Chen was quiet for a moment before suddenly asking, "Brother, are you and Gu Zhao really just ordinary friends?"
Ji Su snapped out of his thoughts, "What did you say?"
"Well..." Ji Chen's expression was conflicted, but he finally made up his mind to speak, "When I woke up this morning, I saw Gu Zhao kiss your hand."
Ji Su's heart skipped a beat, and he instinctively denied it, "You must have seen wrong."
Ji Chen scratched the back of his head, "I don't think I saw wrong!"
Ji Su's mind raced.
Taking advantage of his younger brother's age, he tried to brush it off, "We're both guys, so even if he kissed my hand, it's no big deal."
"It's not like that, brother," Ji Chen became serious, "Nowadays, two guys can date too!"
Ji Su: "..."
Hadn't his brother just graduated from middle school? Why did he know so much?
"Brother, you're so naive that you could easily be deceived." Ji Chen said with a worried expression, "Whether it's a guy or a girl, you have to be careful!"
Ji Su didn't know how to explain his relationship with Gu Zhao to his brother, so he could only vaguely reply, "I understand."
After a while, Gu Zhao came off the field for a break and walked straight to the spectator seats.
Ji Su stood up to greet him as he unscrewed a bottle of mineral water, and handed it to him.
Gu Zhao took the bottle, drank half of it, then tilted his head back and poured the remaining water over his face.
Gu Zhao slightly narrowed his dark eyes as his face showed obvious displeasure.
"My brother is still here..." Ji Su complained softly, "You kissed my hand this morning, and he saw it."
"Really?" Gu Zhao replied nonchalantly, "So what if he saw it?"
Ji Su was a bit helpless, "Can you be a bit more discreet in front of kids?"
Gu Zhao raised an eyebrow slightly, "So you mean, we don't have to be discreet when kids aren't around?"
Ji Su: "..."
What kind of top-tier comprehension is that?
Gu Zhao didn't continue to tease him, "Wait for me, I'll go say hello to my teammates."
Ji Su returned to the spectator seats, "Xiao Chen, I'll take you home."
"You don't have to take me home, brother." Ji Chen stood up with his backpack, "I can go by myself!"
"No, I'm not at ease." Ji Su took out his phone from his pocket, "Then I'll call Dad and have Uncle Zhang pick you up."
"Really, no need!" Ji Chen grabbed his phone, "I'm about to be a high school student, do you think I don't know the way home?"
Ji Su thought for a moment, "Alright then, I'll call a taxi for you and have it take you directly to your doorstep."
Meanwhile, Gu Zhao changed into his own clothes and walked towards them with his long legs.
The three of them walked to the school gate, where Ji Su hailed a taxi and gave the driver the detailed address.
"Brother, I'm off then." Ji Chen hugged him tightly, reluctant to part, "When summer vacation comes, you must come home right away."
Ji Su didn't promise immediately, "We'll see when the time comes."
Ji Chen let go of his hands, "If you have things to do at school during the summer, then I'll come to see you again."
"Alright, get in the car." Ji Su opened the car door, "Text me when you get home."
Ji Chen got into the car with his eyes still glued to Ji Su's face, "Brother, I'll miss you, so you have to miss me too!"
Gu Zhao, standing beside them, reached out and closed the car door with a "bang", before saying, "Driver, you can go now."
The taxi slowly merged onto the main road, and Ji Chen stuck his head out the window while waving vigorously. "Brother, goodbye!"
Ji Su smiled. "Goodbye."
Once the taxi had completely disappeared from sight, Ji Su couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief.
Gu Zhao looked at him, his tone neither warm nor cold. "Your half-brother seems quite attached to you."
Ji Su lowered his eyelashes. "A little."
Gu Zhao wanted to say more, but seeing Ji Su's tired expression, he swallowed his words. "Let's go."
The two turned and walked back. After a while, Ji Su suddenly spoke up. "Gu Zhao, do you think I'm hypocritical?"
Gu Zhao stopped in his tracks before he reached out, and grasped Ji Su's shoulder to turn him to face him. "Why do you say that?"
Ji Su lifted his eyelashes and gave a slight tug at the corner of his lips. "Even though I don't really like my half-brother that much, I still pretend to be a good older brother."
In truth, he had genuinely liked his brother at first. But soon enough, he realized that his brother's arrival had completely taken away the little bit of love he had left.
Yet, Ji Chen had always been fond of clinging to him since childhood.
Such an innocent child that he would even insist on sharing his snacks and toys with Ji Su, even though Ji Su had long outgrown playing with toys.
As the older brother, Ji Zheng Hai constantly reminded him of his responsibility to take care of his younger brother.
And so, day after day, he played the role of the good older brother and fooled everyone.
"You're not hypocritical at all. You've done your best." Gu Zhao said while looking into his eyes with unusual seriousness. "If it were me, not only would I not care about him, I'd probably find a way to make his life miserable."
Ji Su laughed. "You're not as ruthless as you make yourself out to be."
Gu Zhao also curled his lips into a smile. "You know me that well?"
Ji Su replied softly, "Maybe I don't know you well enough, but I know you're a good person."
Gu Zhao was momentarily stunned with his expression turning complex. "This is the first time I've heard someone say I'm a good person."
Ji Su turned back around and continued walking. "In my heart, you are a good person."
Even though he sometimes found ways to tease him, he was also better to him than anyone else.
Gu Zhao let out an ambiguous laugh and strode forward to catch up with him.
…………
The following week, the students of A University entered the preparation week before final exams.
Ji Su, who was usually a top student, remained calm and composed during finals, while his roommates, including Qiao Jin, were thrown into chaos.
In order to pass the exams, everyone began cramming at the last minute, making it exceptionally difficult to secure a seat in the library.
But Ji Su didn't need to worry about finding a seat because Gu Zhao would always reserve one for him in advance.
The library was quiet, with only the sound of pages turning and pens scratching on paper.
Ji Su tried to focus, but the gaze from across the table was hard to ignore.
He looked up to see Gu Zhao's slender fingers twirling a pen with his deep eyes fixed on Ji Su's face.
"Read your book." Ji Su mouthed. "Don't look at me."
Gu Zhao spread his hands, signaling, "I've already memorized everything."
Ji Su: "..."
How annoying, always showing off his incredible memory and efficiency.
Around nine o'clock, Ji Su finished his studies and prepared to return to the dorm to continue working on his final project.
Gu Zhao walked him to the dormitory building and stopped. "Go on up. Don't stay up too late."
Ji Su hesitated for a moment before extending the invitation again, "Would you like to come up to our dorm for a bit?"
"Sure," Gu Zhao agreed this time without refusal. "Let's go up and take a look."
The two of them went upstairs, and it wasn't until Ji Su reached the dorm door that he realized his other roommates hadn't returned yet.
"It's finals week, so my roommates are probably still grinding away." Ji Su said as he took out his key to unlock the door. "The dorm's a bit messy, so I hope you don't mind."
Gu Zhao stepped inside as his gaze swept around the room before locking onto Ji Su's bed. "Is this your bed?"
Ji Su was a bit surprised. "How did you guess?"
"I recognize your bedsheet." Gu Zhao said at a leisurely pace. "You were wearing the skirt I bought you and lying on this bed in the photo. I still remember it very clearly."
Ji Su's face instantly turned red and the tips of his ears glowing crimson as he protested in a soft voice, "We agreed not to bring that up again..."
Gu Zhao raised an eyebrow with a half-smile. "When did we agree on that?"
"You..." Ji Su knew he couldn't win this argument, so he raised his hands to push Gu Zhao toward the door. "It's too late. You should go back."
Gu Zhao let himself be pushed until his back hit the door, then stopped.
Ji Su withdrew his hands. "Did it hurt?"
"Are you that worried about me?" Gu Zhao chuckled before suddenly reaching out to grip Ji Su's waist.
In a dizzying moment, their positions reversed.
Ji Su was pressed against the door with his slender wrists pinned above his head by one of Gu Zhao's large hands.
Their eyes met, and the air between them grew thick and tense.
Gu Zhao slowly lowered his head as his straight nose brushed against Ji Su's slightly cool one.
Ji Su's heart pounded in his chest, threatening to drown him in the depths of Gu Zhao's focused, affectionate gaze.
But just as those thin lips drew closer, Ji Su turned his face away with difficulty.
"This is the third time," Gu Zhao murmured in his ear. "You've avoided me three times now."
Ji Su tried to explain. "I..."
Before he could finish, his earlobe was caught between Gu Zhao's lips.
Ji Su trembled as a strange electric current racing from his ear down his spine, leaving his legs weak.
If it weren't for the strong hand holding him by the waist, he might have embarrassingly slid to the floor.
Gu Zhao sucked on the soft, warm earlobe, and his tongue teasing it back and forth as if he wanted to devour that delicate piece of flesh.
"Mm..." Ji Su let out a muffled whimper before raising his hands to push against Gu Zhao.
But Gu Zhao was like an impenetrable wall that firmly trapping him.
"Knock, knock, knock." The door behind them suddenly rattled.
"Is anyone there?" Qiao Jin's voice came from outside. "Su Su, are you in the dorm?"
Ji Su startled before struggling more fiercely.
Gu Zhao pulled back with his voice hoarse. "Do you want your roommate to see us like this?"
Ji Su's eyes were red at the corners, and his gaze watery and pleading. "No..."
Gu Zhao's hand on his waist tightened, his tone teasing. "Now, do you still think I'm a good person?"
The knocking turned into banging. "Who's in there? Open the door!"
In desperation, Ji Su wrapped his arms around Gu Zhao's neck.
Before Gu Zhao could react, a warm kiss landed on his cheek.
So light, yet so heated.
