Chapter 38

The Third Rebirth (REBIRTH)

Ye Xiao looked at Ling Chen, "Captain..."

Ling Chen ruffled his hair, "It's fine, just cooperate with the Captain." After saying this, Ling Chen reached up and disheveled his own clothes, even popping a button off his shirt. Then, he pulled Ye Xiao back into his embrace.

The door to the room opened, and the female bartender and the young man who had been following Old G stood at the entrance.

Ye Xiao clung to Ling Chen like a boneless creature with his arms looped around the other's neck and fidgeting restlessly. Ling Chen's hand rested on the slender waist of the person in his arms and patted gently to soothe, his voice tinged with irritation, "What is it?" He looked as if his fun had been interrupted.

The female bartender held a square box in her hand with her charming smile, her voice soft and melodious, making it hard to stay angry, "This is a gift from Brother G, for our esteemed guest."

"A gift?" Ling Chen looked impatiently at Jian Lan. Jian Lan understood and stepped forward to take it before opening it in front of everyone.

Seeing what was inside, the impatience on Ling Chen's face completely vanished, "Good stuff," he said with his eyes scanning the items in the box one by one. He then leaned down to nibble on Ye Xiao's ear, "All your favorites."

This time, Ye Xiao wasn't acting. His ear tingled from Ling Chen's bite, and the other's husky voice wormed its way into his ear canal, causing his neck to flush red.

Ling Chen chuckled softly, then nodded towards the female bartender, "Thank Brother G for me, for being so thoughtful."

The female bartender subtly glanced over Ling Chen and Ye Xiao, giggling, "It's our pleasure, enjoy your use."

After closing the door, Ling Chen instructed Jian Lan, "Put the box on the table." Then, supporting Ye Xiao's bottom, he carried him into his arms and walked over to the table.

Jian Lan swiftly placed the square box on the table. Ling Chen clicked his tongue—the box was fully stocked with a whip, handcuffs, ankle chains, a vibrating rod, and even enema tools. Especially the handcuffs, which were embedded with a circle of rubies.

Pressing Ye Xiao's head down to prevent him from turning to look, Ling Chen pretended to be very interested as he picked and chose, and finally took only the handcuffs. He carried Ye Xiao back to the bathroom, with Jian Lan following.

Once in the bathroom, Ling Chen set Ye Xiao down on the sink to sit. Jian Lan stood beside him, rubbing her face a couple of times but unable to hold back, "Chen Ge, did you see that? The stuff in that box is so extravagant, the vibrating rod even has black pearls embedded in it!"

Ye Xiao, wearing Ling Chen's white shirt, asked curiously, "What's a vibrating rod?"

Ling Chen shot a warning glance at Jian Lan and answered seriously, "It's an electric baton that vibrates."

Ye Xiao knew what an electric baton was, but one that vibrates? He nodded, indicating he understood.

Jian Lan: "..."

Ling Chen handed the ruby-embedded handcuffs to Ye Xiao to hold, then reopened the team channel, asking Xiao Mu, "Have you met up with Can Can yet?"

Jiang Cancan's voice came through, very cheerful, "We've met up, we've met up, holy crap Chen Ge you actually bought so many weapons at once, so thrilling! A hidden rich and handsome guy!"

Jian Lan thought to herself, there's even more excitement, you didn't see Chen Ge spend 130,000 on a bottle of wine, tip 100,000, and lose a full million in less than an hour, completely challenging her understanding of prices and spending!

Ignoring Jiang Cancan's words, Ling Chen listened carefully to the movements on the other side and instructed Jiang Mu, "Infiltrate Red Lion's internal surveillance. I want to know what Harrison is doing right now."

Jiang Mu replied, "Yes."

However, Jiang Cancan, upon hearing this, felt something was off and asked nervously, "Chen Ge, are you serious? Are you planning to stir up trouble? Didn't we just come to buy and leave?"

Ling Chen responded, "Exactly, we're here to stir up trouble. Got a problem with that?"

Jiang Cancan quickly replied, "No, no, no! As long as you're happy, old man!"

Ling Chen's tone carried a hint of amusement, "Whether they're chasing us or we just happened to cross paths, since we've encountered them, there's no reason to turn a blind eye and walk away."

It was a Second Division tradition: when encountering members of Holy Judgement, even if you couldn't throw a grenade, you had to fire a few shots. Ling Chen had always adhered to this principle exceptionally well.

At that moment, Jiang Mu's voice came through, "Harrison is with three people, accompanied by Old G, in the next room." After a few seconds, he added, "They're selecting weapons."

Ling Chen narrowed his eyes, "Same as us, here to buy weapons?"

Jiang Mu confirmed, "Most likely. He brought a total of nine people. The remaining six are split—two at the door of the next room, and four in the casino lobby and guarding the exits."

Ling Chen recalled the layout of the casino in his mind, feeling confident. He twirled his fingers and asked Ye Xiao, who was sitting beside him curiously playing with the handcuffs, "Little Fuzzball, what do you think about the Captain hijacking their weapons and taking out their men in the process?"

Ye Xiao nodded seriously, "Good, I'll help you!"

Jian Lan deeply understood what it meant to "hand you the knife when you kill, fan the flames when you light the fire." She was genuinely curious if Ye Xiao would ever say "no" to Chen Ge.

"Since their forces are scattered, it should be easier to handle." Ling Chen said as he pulled Ye Xiao's slender wrist and placed the handcuffs on his left hand without fastening them. The golden handcuffs against Ye Xiao's fair skin, paired with the dazzling ruby, created a visually stunning effect.

Ye Xiao shook his left hand, and with his movement, the collar of his loose white shirt opened a bit more. Ling Chen's gaze fell on the exposed side of Ye Xiao's neck. Suddenly, without turning his head, he instructed Jian Lan, "You go out first."

Jian Lan nodded, wanting to say something, but ultimately turned and left the bathroom.

In the narrow bathroom, only Ye Xiao and Ling Chen remained. Noticing Ling Chen's gaze still fixed on his shoulder and neck, Ye Xiao asked in confusion, "Captain, is there something dirty there?"

"No," Ling Chen replied with his voice unexpectedly hoarse, that even to himself was surprised by his voice. He met Ye Xiao's eyes and deliberately asked in a husky tone, "Earlier, when the Captain fed you wine, held you, touched your waist, and kissed your hair, did you feel disgusted?"

Ye Xiao's heart raced as Ling Chen's words seemed to replay the physical contact they had shared. He honestly shook his head, "Not disgusted."

"Did you feel repulsed?"

"No."

Ling Chen let out a few soft chuckles and leaned in until their noses were almost touching. His voice was laced with temptation, "Then, our Ye Xiao, did you like it?"

Ye Xiao inexplicably felt his throat dry up. He opened his mouth slightly and whispered, "Yes, being close to the Captain makes me feel comfortable and happy."

Damn, this is really going to kill me.

Knowing that Ye Xiao was telling the truth and that it was his genuine feeling, made it all the more unbearable.

Ling Chen rested his head on Ye Xiao's shoulder.

Ye Xiao found it strange and was about to ask what was wrong when he suddenly felt something wet and soft licking the skin on the side of his neck, ticklish and slippery. Then, a warm breath spread out, and Ye Xiao suddenly realized—it was Ling Chen's tongue.

Ling Chen moistened the skin on the side of Ye Xiao's neck with his tongue before sucking hard with his teeth gently grazing the surface. Ye Xiao's body tensed slightly, but he sat obediently and did not push Ling Chen away.

Ling Chen felt utterly miserable all over. He couldn't help but reach out and grab Ye Xiao's hand, holding it in his palm. His lips moved an inch toward the collarbone to gently capture a small patch of skin before he slowly grind it with his lips, teeth, and tongue.

Finally, he straightened up while looking down at the two hickeys left on Ye Xiao's fair skin. "This way, it won't be easy to expose us." The excuse was utterly ridiculous, and his voice was hoarse to the point of being unrecognizable.

Ye Xiao nodded while not looking at Ling Chen. "...Okay."

Only after Ling Chen turned and walked out of the bathroom did Ye Xiao look at himself in the mirror. He carefully touched the deep red mark on the side of his neck with his fingers and his heartbeat pounding in his ears as if it were about to explode.

Ling Chen took Ye Xiao downstairs, exuding the air of a satiated lion, his demeanor even more lazy and frivolous than before. His flippant eyes swept across the room before quickly identifying their targets.

"Two at the entrance, one at each side window." Ling Chen said before turning to Jian Lan. "Take care of the ones by the windows first. After that, you go talk to the female bartender, and Ye Xiao and I will handle the two at the entrance."

Jian Lan nodded and blended into the crowd around the large gambling table before the three of them split up.

Ling Chen held Ye Xiao, stopping and looking around to confirm the positions of the surveillance cameras. He then moved behind a Roman column by the window and spoke directly, "Where's Harrison?"

A man in a black tank top turned around, eyeing Ling Chen warily. "Who are you?"

"Ever heard of Fjord?" Ling Chen was adept at impersonation.

The man from Holy Judgement nodded but remained cautious, not stepping closer.

Ling Chen continued, "Harrison came to check out the weapons and arranged to meet our boss here. The boss couldn't make it, so he sent me to deliver something." He looked impatient. "Here's the stuff. I've got things to do."

The Holy Judgement man glanced at the boy nestled in Ling Chen's arms and the golden handcuffs on the boy's wrists, understanding the situation. He took two steps forward while reaching out. "Give it to me."

Those two steps were exactly what Ling Chen was waiting for—enough to block the surveillance camera with the Roman column. In the next second, Ye Xiao's right hand moved like lightning, striking the man's neck with just two fingers. With a sharp "crack", he crushed the man's windpipe.

In just a few blinks, the man in front of them was gone. Ling Chen didn't linger, taking Ye Xiao toward the entrance.

The two men guarding the entrance were smoking. Ling Chen walked over, putting on the air of a spoiled rich kid as he lazily shouted, "My baby said you guys blocked his way earlier. Is that true?"

The two men exchanged glances, sensing something off.

Ling Chen's expression turned fierce as he growled, "From now on, when you see my people, you better get on the ground. If you dare take another look, I'll gouge your eyes out!" After his display of dominance, as if he had regained his pride, he prepared to leave with Ye Xiao.

The two members of Holy Judgement had short tempers.

After exchanging a glance and confirming that the other was just a coward who could only talk big, they decided not to swallow their pride.

They pulled out daggers and aimed for Ling Chen's back. However, Ling Chen seemed to have eyes on the back of his head. He turned around to swiftly grab their wrists, and easily disarmed them. In no time, the two men vanished from sight.

Ling Chen kicked the blood-stained daggers into the bushes and couldn't resist taking a jab, "As expected, the members of Holy Judgement are getting worse with each generation. They were dealt with so easily."

Just as he stepped back into the casino, Jian Lan's voice came through, "Old G is coming downstairs. I'm on my way to meet you."

Ling Chen responded with a nonchalant "Hmm," and added, "Harrison should be coming down soon too. Ye Xiao and I will wait at the entrance." As he spoke, his gaze inadvertently fell on the love mark visible on Ye Xiao's neck.

Ye Xiao was sensitive to Ling Chen's gaze and looked at him with a hint of confusion. He noticed that Ling Chen had ended the conversation and was now carefully adjusting his collar, buttoning his white shirt all the way up to the top, completely covering his neck.

Ye Xiao asked softly, "Didn't you say that this way... it would be less likely to give us away?"

Ling Chen, unusually evasive, didn't respond.

When Jian Lan arrived to join them, she happened to see Ling Chen buttoning up Ye Xiao's shirt. She couldn't help but roll her eyes inwardly—ugh, it's blinding the possessiveness of an old man!
