Chapter 60: Everyone in the World is My Spare Tire 15

The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)

Yue Chu jumped out of the car then tossed his white coat into a nearby trash bin.

Wearing only a thin shirt, he strolled leisurely along the bustling street.

The laboratory was always quiet, with nothing but the hum of machines and the soft murmurs of researchers. Now, amidst the lively clamor of the street and the vibrant colors of the world, Yue Chu's smile grew brighter.

He took a deep breath while savoring the long-missed vitality of life.

Just then, the Little Ball in his chest pocket flickered that signal that it had awakened.

Yue Chu quickly found a secluded corner to hide in, lest the Little Ball become too nervous and act rashly.

【Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! How dare he run off!】

【I don’t know whether to admire his courage or scold his stupidity. How could he just reach out and touch the Virus Entity without considering the danger!】

【If I hadn’t sealed the outer shell, he would’ve been infected by now. What an idiot!】

The Little Ball was nearly driven mad with anger.

The thought of Yue Chu being unknowingly infected by the virus made it feel like it was going insane.

The Bora Star People, though powerful, were only capable of destruction and devastation, with no knowledge of healing or redemption.

In other words, if Yue Chu accidentally came into contact with its virus, and if the humans hadn’t yet developed a cure, even it would be powerless to save him. It could only watch helplessly as Yue Chu slowly became infected and eventually died in agony.

Yuan couldn’t bear to imagine such a scene.

It had always believed that as a Bora Star Person, it was cold and emotionless while viewing all living beings merely as hosts to provide sustenance for its survival, infection, and replication.

But that rationality had crumbled upon meeting Yue Chu, replaced by a pounding in its chest and waves of emotion surging uncontrollably.

【What kind of place is this? I need to get him back to the Research Institute immediately.】

【It seems the Research Institute isn’t secure enough. I must reinforce the defenses and make sure he doesn’t run off again.】

【As long as he’s in the Research Institute, he can do whatever he wants.】

【Wait!】

Yuan stiffened as it suddenly realised that it was pressed against a layer of warm skin, particularly a soft, delicate protrusion in the middle, like the tenderest petal gently brushing against it and sending shivers through its entire being.

The Little Ball’s head was practically steaming as the Red Gauze inside swirling violently as if caught in a Category 12 storm.

Its entire body flickered with red light, and without caring about the risk of being discovered, it shot out.

Yue Chu reacted swiftly and grabbed hold of it.

If the Little Ball really escaped, it would be a huge problem.

But the position was awkward.

Yue Chu looked like a bashful maiden covering his chest, while the Little Ball he was holding touched that soft spot again, causing the entire ball to light up brightly.

Yuan stiffly pushed against Yue Chu’s hand to retreat from his chest as if fleeing from a ferocious beast and terrified of making contact again.

The force was so strong that Yue Chu had to loosen his grip to give the Little Ball some space.

【This is terrifying… What is he trying to do? How could he… how could he…】

Yue Chu raised an eyebrow slightly.

What had he done?

【He’s so shameless! How can he have such intimate contact with someone so casually!】

Yue Chu: “How am I being shameless?”

【In every way… Huh? Is he… talking to me?】

Yuan extended his senses to capture the movements around him.

The place was quite remote, with only a few passersby and no one speaking.

Yue Chu took Little Ball out of his pocket and examined it closely before tapping its surface twice with his pinkish-white nails.

Under the sunlight, Little Ball shimmered with a brilliance more beautiful than the finest gemstone.

Yue Chu chuckled softly, "I'm talking to you."

[This can't be...]

Yuan couldn't believe it.

He had tested it many times before—no human could hear the words of his true form, let alone understand the language of Bora Star, which was entirely different from that of Blue Star.

"Why not? Maybe... I'm just naturally gifted."

[Nonsense! You can't even understand the experimental data.]

Yue Chu helplessly rubbed his temple but admitted that he was completely clueless in this area.

"It just means I'm not very skilled in this Domain..."

Yuan was stunned.

He... he could actually understand him!

But before the joy could fully ignite, anger surged within him.

Damn it, if Yue Chu could understand him all along, then he must have been deceiving him!

All this time, he had been trying to help Yue Chu, only to realize that Yue Chu had been deliberately fishing for information!!

[You liar!]

[How dare you treat me like this!]

[I will... I will definitely...]

Yue Chu watched Little Ball's tantrum with a smile, showing no trace of fear.

"I'm sorry, the situation was complicated, and I had no choice but to keep it hidden. Although I've done many wrong things, the moment I realized I could hear your voice, I truly felt at ease."

"I swear, this is one thing I absolutely didn't lie to you about."

"The lab was a dangerous place, and I was in peril. I had no choice but to rely on you."

Yue Chu's eyelashes fluttered gently as the golden sunlight cast a shimmering glow on him, as if sprinkled with specks of gold that made him look breathtakingly beautiful.

His eyes were filled with sincerity, like rippling lake water that gently swayed into the heart.

As an alien, Yuan was, in some ways, particularly naive.

He had no idea that there was a type of person in this world called a "green tea." And so, he was completely taken in.

[I know it hasn't been easy for you.]

[Fine, I won't hold it against you.]

Yue Chu immediately broke into a radiant smile, as if a weight had been lifted from his heart. "I knew you were the best."

Yuan awkwardly turned his body and did not dare to look at that beautiful face because he was afraid he might be dazzled.

However, after turning around, he realized that, unlike humans, his omnidirectional senses allowed him to see Yue Chu from any angle.

[When are we going back?]

Yue Chu lightly tossed Little Ball in his hand while his gaze sweeping over the vibrant flowers in the park.

In truth, these flowers paled in comparison to the rare ones on the top floor of Lan Yao, but they exuded a vitality that seemed full of endless life.

His eyes were tinged with melancholy while lingering on the surrounding scenery, and his voice carried a hint of vulnerability. "I don't want to go back yet..."

Yuan grew anxious upon hearing this, but the moment he met those worried eyes, his heart softened again.

Fine, if he doesn't want to go back yet, then we'll stay for a while.

Yue Chu was still young, after all, and naturally disliked being cooped up in the lab all the time. Besides, he didn't understand any of it, so he had no interest.

It was good for him to come out and relax, as long as he was happy.

He couldn't stand the sight of those guys always clinging to Yue Chu. Even though it was all him, the thought still made him uncomfortable.

However...

Yuan quietly observed the environment of Blue Star but find nothing particularly special. But if Yue Chu liked it...

He was already considering whether to claim these places as part of his territory.

Providing more nourishment and space for his flower was the proper attitude of a protector.

Unaware of the dangerous thoughts swirling in Yuan's mind, Yue Chu finally smiled when he saw Yuan calm down.

He gently squeezed Little Ball and softly expressed his gratitude with his smile as enchanting as a celestial being from a painting and captivating Yuan's eyes and heart.

Unfortunately, this serene moment was soon shattered.

In the secluded corner of the street, there were always those who enjoyed causing trouble.

"Well, well, look at this pretty boy standing there all by himself while muttering something."

A few hoodlums with cigarettes dangling from their mouths approached with lecherous grins as their vulgar eyes scanned Yue Chu and were unable to contain their excitement.

Even though he was a man, his beauty was undeniable, and they had no qualms about indulging in their desires.

Yue Chu raised his eyes impatiently, truly fed up with the world's tendency to produce such clueless individuals who seemed eager to become cannon fodder.

His smile turned cold, and he spoke lazily, "Get lost, and I'll pretend I never saw you."

The hoodlums burst into laughter, some even leaning against the gray wall and nearly collapse to the ground because of laughing.

One of them, Yellow Hair, said, "This little hottie has quite the temper. I wonder if he'll still be so bold once his pants are off."

He then thrust his hips forward suggestively with his sly, triangular eyes fixed on Yue Chu with malicious intent.

The curve of Yue Chu's lips remained unchanged, but his gaze turned dangerous.

It seemed these little brats needed to be taught a lesson.

However, before he could make a move, Yuan suddenly shot out before hovering in mid-air with a red light flickering like a beating heart, thumping rhythmically.

The bizarre scene startled Yellow Hair, who took a step back but quickly regained his composure. He spit on the ground and shouted in a raspy voice, "What the hell is that?!"

Yuan was furious, absolutely livid.

He had been too shocked to react immediately that allowed this guy to utter a few more words—utterly unforgivable!

His Yue Chu, whom he wouldn't even dare to scold…

In the blink of an eye, Little Ball suddenly expanded and resembled a solar flare, extending several long, flame-like red tendrils that swiftly wrapped around Yellow Hair that lift him into the air.

Yellow Hair flailed in panic as the cigarette fell from his mouth, its unextinguished tip glowing brightly, much like his rapidly fading life.

He screamed hoarsely, "F*ck, someone help me!"

The others exchanged glances before hesitantly stepping forward.

But within a second, the red flame, like a wandering fire dragon, plunged into Yellow Hair's gaping mouth, traversing his throat, piercing through his internal organs, and emerging from his tailbone.

Only then did the tendrils release their grip, and Yellow Hair collapsed to his knees with gurgling sounds escaping his throat.

Moments later, a meter-high column of blood spurted from his mouth, resembling a water pump being turned on, making one wonder if a human body could really contain so much blood.

The others had never seen such a scene before and were immediately terrified.

One of them even wet his pants that emit a faint odor of urine.

Seeing this, Yuan finally calmed down a bit of his anger. However, when he realized Yue Chu was standing right behind him, he froze instantly.

Damn it, he had let Yue Chu see such a brutal side of him.

From what he knew, people from Blue Star were quite timid. Yue Chu must have been scared out of his wits. Would he end up hating him because of this?

Yuan didn't even dare to turn around because he feared that the gentle smile he cherished would turn into one of disgust.

Yue Chu stepped forward slowly while waving his hand to signal the surviving few to scram.

Looking at the bloody corpse on the ground, he pressed his forehead in frustration.

"What are you staring at? Hurry up and clean this mess! Are you expecting me to do it?"

Although his tone wasn't the best, the meaning behind his words instantly revived Yuan.

He cautiously moved closer to observe Yue Chu's expression, and only when he saw that Yue Chu remained calm did he feel relieved.

Red flames instantly ignited that quickly reduced the corpse to ashes, which scattered with the wind.

He hesitantly moved closer to Yue Chu, only to be dodged with a look of disdain, which pierced Yuan's heart.

So, he was really hated after all?

Yue Chu pulled out a white handkerchief and threw it at Yuan.

The square handkerchief completely covered Little Ball, and a faint fragrance could be detected from it.

"Can you be a bit more hygienic? Going in and out of such places is just too dirty."

Yuan suddenly lifted the sphere, causing the handkerchief to float in mid-air.

He carefully examined Yue Chu's expression, and seeing nothing but disgust for the uncleanliness, the warmth in his chest almost boiled over.

He wasn't afraid of him.

Yuan wiped himself with the handkerchief and moved closer with a pout, "My energy is one-time use, it's not dirty at all."

Yue Chu didn't care; it just looked disgusting to him.

He lightly flicked Little Ball, then turned around gracefully with his demeanor unaffected.

Yuan quietly watched his back for a while before quickly catching up.

Inside the sphere, the Red Gauze shimmered like countless falling stars, incredibly beautiful.

His Yue Chu was truly different.

Perhaps crossing billions of light-years was all for the sake of meeting him.

Translator:
