So, he decided to boil the egg.
The egg cracked open in the pot, and a monster crawled out.
Eyes bleeding, Xu Rongchan didn’t hesitate—he raised his gun and blew the monster’s head off!
Days later, the monster—now with a freshly regrown head—sat in the passenger seat, flashing a handsome smile as it asked:
"Big brother, why do animals incubate eggs with their bellies, but you used a pot?"
"Big brother, did you shoot me because you didn’t like my face?"
"Big brother, do you like me better like this? Big brother…"
Xu Rongchan tightened his grip on the gun. "...Stop calling me brother! You’re not my little brother!"
The little monster tilted its head. "Then what am I?"
It glanced around, spotted a golden retriever by the roadside, and suddenly had an epiphany:
"I know—I must be your doggie~!"

From then on, Captain Xu gained a beautiful deputy—also surnamed Xu.
Compared to the ruthless "God of Slaughter" Xu, Deputy Xu always wore a harmless smile, sticking to his captain like glue, appearing delicate, lovely, and utterly pitiable.
Until one day, Xu Rongchan was injured on a mission.
Countless terrifying tentacles erupted from Deputy Xu’s body. His stunningly beautiful human form twisted into an indescribable monstrosity, instantly slaughtering the aberration that had harmed his captain.
The logistics team, eyes stinging in horror, trembled. "What the hell is Deputy Xu?!"
Turning back, the creature—now drenched in blood—leaned against Xu Rongchan, eyes curving sweetly as it cooed:
"I’m Captain Xu’s puppy :)"
