Online Dating Fiasco with the Campus Heartthrob (DATING)
The scorching lips pressed down hard, and Ji Su's mind went blank for a few seconds with all his movements freezing.
Gu Zhao, almost as soon as he kissed Ji Su, couldn't help but probe with his tongue and try to pry open the tightly closed lips.
Ji Su's spine tingled, and he reflexively pushed back.
Gu Zhao raised his hand to grip the slender nape of Ji Su's neck while pressing him closer to his lips and biting down on the soft lower lip.
"Mmm..." Ji Su winced in pain as his lips parted, and the fiery tongue took the opportunity to slip inside.
Gu Zhao kissed fiercely and relentlessly. His tongue recklessly explored the tender mouth before wrapping around the soft tongue and sucking hard, as if he wanted to devour it whole.
As if dissatisfied with the position, he gripped the slender waist to lift him up and spread his legs to sit on his abdomen, then kissed him again with the ferocity of a wolf.
Ji Su couldn't withstand such intensity as his waist softening as he was firmly pressed onto Gu Zhao's lap, unable to struggle or escape.
Until he couldn't breathe at all and his vision even started to darken.
At that moment, Ji Su hazily thought that Gu Zhao was surely going to kiss him to death...
After a while, Gu Zhao mercifully withdrew from the moist, hot mouth before his forehead rested against Ji Su's, his voice unbearably hoarse: "Breathe."
Ji Su instinctively gasped for air with his chest heaving with each breath.
Gu Zhao still didn't let go as his tall nose bridge kept brushing against the flushed cheek, then moving to the corner of his lips.
The plump lips were kissed until they were red and swollen, glistening with a layer of moisture, and the small bead on the upper lip was so red it seemed to bleed.
He extended his tongue to soothingly licked the tiny lip bead, which caused the body in his palm to tremble.
Ji Su finally caught his breath and tried to push away the solid chest again.
But his entire body was as soft as marshmallow, with no strength at all, and after a couple of attempts, he still couldn't push the other person away.
Gu Zhao chuckled softly before he compliantly leaned back against the headboard.
His dark eyes were mixed with ambiguous emotions as his gaze slowly swept over the crimson corners of the eyes, then down to the slightly parted red lips.
‘So pitiful… he couldn't even close his mouth after being kissed.’
"Gu Zhao, you..." Ji Su glared with watery eyes while wiping the moisture off his lips with the back of his hand, "How could you kiss me?"
"I said, if you don't like it, you can push me away," Gu Zhao looked at him, "But you didn't."
Ji Su thought about the situation just now while feeling extremely wronged: "I did push you, but I couldn't push you away!"
"Oh," Gu Zhao laughed again, "I thought you didn't use any strength at all."
"You, you..." Ji Su was both embarrassed and angry, but he couldn't argue with him, so he could only get up and crawl off the bed.
But as soon as his toes touched the ground, his legs went weak and he almost fell.
Gu Zhao promptly reached out to hold his waist: "How about sleeping in my bed tonight?"
Ji Su held onto the long and sturdy arm, pinched it hard but it didn't budge, making him even angrier: "Let go!"
"Then stand steady." Gu Zhao waited until he stabilized before letting go.
Ji Su took a deep breath and walked towards the door.
Just as his slender fingers touched the door handle, the low and magnetic voice came from behind again: "So sweet."
It took Ji Su a few seconds to realize what Gu Zhao meant by "so sweet".
He twisted the door handle and quickly left the bedroom as if escaping.
Back in his own room, Ji Su threw himself onto the bed before burying his hot cheeks deep into the quilt.
After a long while, he turned over and lay on his back to stare at the ceiling.
The base of his tongue was still numb from being sucked so hard, and Ji Su, as if bewitched, raised his hand and lightly touched his burning lips, causing his whole body to shiver.
He had kissed Gu Zhao, not just a peck on the cheek or a light touch on the corner of the mouth but a real kiss, and it was even with the tongue...
Ji Su closed his eyes and turned over again to bury his face in the quilt.
That night, he had no intention of reviewing the lessons for the next day's exam and only wanted to fall asleep as soon as possible.
But it seemed as if Gu Zhao's scent still lingered on his lips, and the phrase "so sweet" kept looping in his mind, so he could only toss and turn in bed, like flipping a pancake.
After who knows how long, sleepiness finally began to creep in, and Ji Su's chaotic mind temporarily quieted down.
In the dead of night, there was a sudden "click".
The tightly closed door opened a crack before it was slowly pushed open, and a tall figure walked in.
Gu Zhao walked barefoot on the floor, making no sound at all before stopping by the bed.
Ji Su lay on the bed with his eyes closed in deep sleep and on his crimson lips, the traces of being ravished not yet completely gone.
By the bright moonlight outside the window, Gu Zhao's gaze followed the slightly open collar down, over the gently rising chest, over the rolled-up hem of the pajamas revealing a slender waist, and landed on the long and straight calves.
In his sleep, Ji Su turned over and arching one long, pale leg, which outlined the curve of his round and perky buttocks.
Gu Zhao's throat moved slightly and his gaze deep and unfathomable.
Did he think locking the door would keep him safe? This was his home—there was nowhere he couldn't enter.
Countless wicked thoughts flashed through Gu Zhao's mind, but in the end, he simply stood by the bed while gazing intently at the sleeping figure.
After a long while, he leaned down, picked up the blanket that had been kicked aside, and draped it over Ji Su.
"You can't escape, Ji Su." Gu Zhao straightened up while silently mouthing the words.
…….
The next morning, Ji Su kept his head down the entire time during breakfast.
Gu Zhao sat across from him and calmly reminded him, "Your head is about to hit the table."
Ji Su's back stiffened, and he instinctively sat up straight with his eyes still fixed on the table and resolutely avoiding any eye contact.
After breakfast, Gu Zhao drove him to school for his final exam.
The journey was too short and by the time they reached the school gate, Ji Su's thoughts were still wandering.
Gu Zhao unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over.
The familiar scent hit Ji Su's nose, and he suddenly snapped back to reality before he quickly leaned away.
Gu Zhao continued to move closer until his warm breath brushed against Ji Su's sensitive earlobe.
Ji Su's face flushed and his heart raced, he even almost curled into a ball. "Gu Zhao, we're at the school gate..."
With a click, the seatbelt buckle popped open.
Gu Zhao propped himself up with one hand beside Ji Su with a teasing smile on his lips. "What did you think I was going to do?"
Ji Su: "..."
Gu Zhao pressed on, "Or were you expecting me to do something?"
Ji Su pushed him away forcefully while retorting angrily, "I wasn't!"
Gu Zhao leaned back in the driver's seat as his smile deepened.
Ji Su looked at him and felt that it was inexplicably unfair.
Since the kiss, Ji Su hadn't dared to look at Gu Zhao, while the other seemed completely at ease, and even teased him.
Could it be...
That last night's kiss wasn't actually Gu Zhao's first?
Gu Zhao narrowed his eyes slightly: "Don't look at me like that."
Ji Su retorted fiercely: "What's wrong with looking at you like this?"
Gu Zhao reached out and pinched his cheek: "If you keep looking at me like that, I'll kiss you again."
Ji Su immediately covered his lips with his palm and his eyes showing a wary expression.
"Alright, let's go take the exam first." Gu Zhao withdrew his hand, opened the car door, and got out, then walked around to open the passenger side door.
Ji Su got out of the car with his ears red and quickly walked ahead.
At 11:30 in the morning, the last exam was successfully completed.
Ji Su handed in his paper early and stood in the corridor, waiting for Qiao Jin.
After a while, the bell rang, and students started filing out of the classroom.
"Ahhh!" Qiao Jin rushed towards Ji Su as soon as he stepped out of the classroom, "Finally, freedom!"
Ji Su blocked him with his arm and smiled as he reminded him, "Don't get too excited yet, the results aren't out."
Qiao Jin looked proud: "Today's exam was all on the key points you gave us, I'm confident!"
"Exactly, thanks so much, Ji Su!" Zhao Ziyun walked over, "As soon as I got the paper, I knew I had it in the bag!"
Ji Su smiled slightly: "I'm glad it helped."
"By the way, where are we going for lunch?" Li You asked from the side, "Ji Su, what do you want to eat?"
"I'm fine with anything," Ji Su replied, "Xiao Qiao said he wants to eat barbecue, what about you guys?"
Zhao Ziyun took over: "Then let's go for a barbecue, it's been a while since we had it."
They all agreed and headed downstairs.
Qiao Jin leaned close to Ji Su's ear and whispered, "Su Su, have you decided whether to stay on campus during the summer?"
Ji Su paused: "You reminded me, I'll go fill out the stay application this afternoon."
Qiao Jin was relieved: "Then after lunch, I'll go with you to Gu Zhao's house to get—"
He stopped mid-sentence.
Ji Su followed his gaze and saw a handsome yet cold face.
Gu Zhao stood there expressionlessly enough to make all passing students turn their heads.
Ji Su was slightly startled and quickened his pace down the steps: "Why are you here?"
Gu Zhao's eyes softened: "To take you home."
"I forgot to tell you, I'm having lunch with my roommates." Ji Su replied softly, "You go home first."
"Lunch?" Gu Zhao glanced behind him, "Can I join?"
Ji Su was about to refuse when Zhao Ziyun's hearty voice came from behind: "Gu Zhao, are you joining us for lunch too?"
Gu Zhao looked at him but directed his question to Ji Su: "Is it okay?"
"Why wouldn't it be?" Zhao Ziyun said casually, "By the way, do you remember me? We played basketball together!"
Ji Su: "..."
Was he referring to the time when Gu Zhao completely dominated him on the court, and he came back to the dorm to rant about it?
Gu Zhao nodded slightly: "I remember."
"Great!" Zhao Ziyun was delighted, "Then let's go, we're having barbecue!"
Since his roommates had no objections, Ji Su couldn't say much.
They went to a barbecue place near the school and got a small private room for the five of them.
Gu Zhao had been grilling meat on his side of the grill, and once it was cooked, he would pick it up and place it on the plate in front of Ji Su.
After being fed for a while, Ji Su felt full and stopped to listen to their conversation.
Zhao Ziyun and Qiao Jin were drinking and teasing each other, ensuring the atmosphere didn't cool down, and the conversation was lively.
Li You sat on the other side and secretly observed Ji Su and Gu Zhao beside him, feeling that something was off.
It wasn't until Gu Zhao raised his eyes and gave him a cold glance that Li You quickly lowered his head and stuffed grilled meat into his mouth.
Midway, Ji Su went to the restroom, and Li You also got up and followed him.
When Ji Su was washing his hands at the sink, he noticed Li You standing behind him.
"Ji Su..." Li You hesitated, "There's something I don't know if I should say."
Ji Su turned around: "It's okay, go ahead."
"I think the way Gu Zhao looks at you isn't simple." Li You mustered the courage to say, "It seems like he likes you."
Ji Su: "..."
Was it really that obvious that Gu Zhao liked him?
"I remember you're straight, right?" Li You took a step closer, "Gu Zhao is a complicated person, and I think you should stay away from someone with ulterior motives."
Ji Su frowned: "Gu Zhao and I are friends, you shouldn't speak of him like that in front of me."
Li You got a bit anxious: "That's not what I meant, I just—"
"Sorry, I know you mean well, but this is my own matter," Ji Su interrupted politely but firmly, "And he doesn't have ulterior motives towards me."
Li You, full of regret, could only apologize: "I'm sorry, I..."
Ji Su didn't say anything more and walked out.
As soon as he stepped out, he locked eyes with Gu Zhao at the corner.
Gu Zhao leaned against the wall with his gaze inscrutable, and his expression hard to read.
Ji Su's heart tightened: "You... you heard everything?"
"Not too much but not too little," Gu Zhao looked at him, "Just enough to hear how you defended me."
Ji Su's ears turned slightly red, and he explained in a low voice: "Don't take my roommate's words to heart, he's just concerned about me."
Gu Zhao hummed ambiguously before he reached out to put his arm around Ji Su's shoulder, and led him back.
Li You also came out of the restroom and watched the two's intimate backs, and couldn't help but punch the wall in frustration.
After the meal, they walked back to school.
Gu Zhao went to get his car, and Ji Su stood at the school gate to say goodbye to his roommates.
"Then I'll head back to the dorm to pack." Zhao Ziyun said, "I bought a ticket home for the afternoon, see you all after the semester starts!"
Before leaving, Li You took another look at Ji Su: "Take care of yourself."
Ji Su nodded: "Thank you, you too."
After the two left, Qiao Jin volunteered: "Su Su, I'll accompany you to Gu Zhao's place to get your things."
Ji Su thought for a moment: "Xiao Qiao, I think I'll go by myself."
Qiao Jin stomped his foot: "Oh! I'm just afraid you might not come back!"
"It's not that exaggerated." Ji Su laughed, "Gu Zhao's place isn't a den of wolves or tigers, how could I not come back?"
Qiao Jin wanted to say more, but a low-key black Audi pulled up.
"Xiao Qiao, I'm off," Ji Su waved, "See you in the dorm tonight."
"Alright, I'll wait for you in the dorm." Qiao Jin added, "If you do come back, that is."
…….
Returning home, Ji Su entered his room and began packing his belongings.
Although he had only stayed for about ten days, perhaps because the environment was so comfortable, he felt a faint sense of reluctance in his heart.
Ji Su slowly zipped up his suitcase, stood up, and glanced around the room before walking out and heading towards the living room.
Gu Zhao was sitting on the sofa and looked up at the sound: "All packed?"
"Yes," Ji Su responded before thanking him, "Thank you for letting me stay, and for taking care of me during this time."
Gu Zhao: "That's it?"
"I'd like to take you out for dinner tonight." Ji Su replied softly. "If you're not available, we can owe it for now."
Gu Zhao stretched out his long legs: "No need to go out, let's just cook at home."
And so, it ended up with Gu Zhao taking charge of the cooking, while Ji Su assisted him by the side.
Gu Zhao seemed to be in a good mood tonight and even opened a bottle of red wine to add to the atmosphere.
His slender fingers wrapped around the stem of the wine glass as he raised it: "Congratulations on getting through the final exam week."
Ji Su picked up his glass and gently clinked it with Gu Zhao's: "Congratulations to you too."
After finishing one glass, Gu Zhao poured another.
"I can't drink too much." Ji Su pursed his lips. "You know I don't handle alcohol well."
Gu Zhao raised his glass: "It's fine, this wine isn't strong."
Unconsciously, Ji Su's cheeks took on a faint blush, and he began to feel warm.
Gu Zhao sat across from him and watched him silently while grinding his back teeth subtly.
"Gu Zhao, I think I'm feeling a bit dizzy." Ji Su stood up. "I want to get a glass of water."
Gu Zhao stood up as well: "I'll get it, you go sit on the sofa and rest for a bit."
Ji Su walked over to the sofa and sat down before leaning back against the cushions.
Gu Zhao walked over with a glass of water and handed it to him: "Drink some water."
Ji Su drank several sips before feeling a bit better.
Gu Zhao took the glass back and naturally drank the remaining half of the water.
Ji Su wanted to remind him that it was his glass, but when his gaze fell on Gu Zhao's face, he suddenly lost his voice.
Gu Zhao tilted his head back, his jawline sharp and prominent, his Adam's apple moving up and down as he swallowed with the sound unusually clear.
After drinking, a sheen of water remained on his thin lips.
Ji Su stared before he uncontrollably recalled the warmth and sensation of those lips pressed against his the night before.
The lips that looked cold and unfeeling were actually very warm and soft, and of course, even warmer was...
Realizing what he was thinking, Ji Su's heart began to beat erratically again.
Gu Zhao put down the glass and leaned in to meet his gaze: "What are you looking at?"
Ji Su shook his head: "Nothing."
Gu Zhao's gaze lowered slightly: "You're looking at my mouth."
Whether it was the alcohol or something else, Ji Su's head felt dizzy, and he began a belated accusation: "Why did you kiss me last night?"
"Because I like you." Gu Zhao replied frankly. "I like you, so I wanted to kiss you."
Ji Su was a bit unhappy: "But I didn't agree to you kissing me."
"Since it's already happened, what can we do?" Gu Zhao's fingers pinched Ji Su's sharp chin. "Then I'll let you kiss me back."
Ji Su's eyes were hazy: "Kiss you back?"
"Yes," Gu Zhao sat down on the sofa and pulled Ji Su onto his lap. "This time I won't move, so you can kiss me back."
