Online Dating Fiasco with the Campus Heartthrob (DATING)
When Ji Su opened his eyes again, he was alone in bed.
The blackout curtains were drawn, and the room was dim, making it hard to tell whether it was day or night.
Ji Su lay on the bed while feeling clean and refreshed but as he moved, he felt sore and achy, especially in areas that had been overused...
After a moment, he reached out to grab his phone from the bedside table.
The screen lit up, showing the time: 2:30 PM.
Ji Su's sluggish brain calculated that it had been almost a full day and night since yesterday evening.
The door creaked softly as someone gently pushed it open.
Light from the living room spilled into the bedroom as Gu Zhao walked in with his long legs striding straight toward the bed.
Ji Su couldn't help but shiver.
Despite the discomfort, he rolled toward the center of the bed and wrapped himself in the thin blanket.
Gu Zhao stood by the edge of the bed before reaching out to grab his ankle.
Ji Su quickly pulled his foot under the blanket and tugged it up to his chin, leaving only his damp eyes exposed, like a wary little kitten.
"What are you hiding from?" Gu Zhao laughed with his voice carrying a sense of satisfaction, like a well-fed beast.
"I..." Ji Su started, only to realize his voice was hoarse.
Gu Zhao withdrew his hand. "I made some food. Do you want to get up and eat?"
Ji Su nodded. "Yes."
His last meal had been late last night, and he vaguely remembered being given water a few times while half-asleep.
After all, he had shed too much sweat and tears, and his body needed hydration.
Ji Su sat up but the collar of his black shirt slipped off one shoulder, revealing bruises in shades of green and purple.
Gu Zhao knelt on the bed with one knee then leaning down to pick him up.
Ji Su wrapped his arms around Gu Zhao's neck and whispered, "I need to brush my teeth first."
After freshening up in the bathroom, Ji Su was carried to the living room.
The dining table was set with several dishes, all light and mild in flavor, but Gu Zhao's cooking skills made them delicious nonetheless.
Ji Su was truly hungry.
He ate a bowl and a half of rice before putting down his chopsticks then leaning back in his chair and patting his slightly rounded stomach with satisfaction.
Gu Zhao asked, "Are you full?"
Ji Su looked at him warily. "I have something to do later."
"I was just asking if you wanted to eat more." Gu Zhao said with a teasing smile. "What were you thinking about?"
Ji Su: "..."
How could this person act so innocent after doing so many outrageous things to him?
After finishing the meal, at Ji Su's strong insistence, Gu Zhao carried him back to the guest bedroom.
Ji Su leaned against the headboard, opened his laptop, and struggled to draw.
Gu Zhao sat beside him and occasionally massaged his waist.
As he continued, the position of his fingers became a bit inappropriate.
"I'm fine, no need to massage anymore." Ji Su twisted his waist away and tactfully asked, "Do you have anything else to do?"
Gu Zhao replied matter-of-factly, "No."
Ji Su blinked his lashes, "But I do."
Gu Zhao was silent for a few seconds, then tilted his face to the side, signaling.
Ji Su understood and leaned in to kiss his cheek.
At the same moment, Gu Zhao turned his face back, and their lips met in a solid kiss.
Ji Su's ears turned slightly red, "Is that enough?"
Even though they had done the most intimate things together multiple times, he still couldn't help but feel shy.
Gu Zhao reluctantly responded, "Hmm."
After Gu Zhao left the room, Ji Su focused on drawing.
As night fell, he was finally finished, closed his laptop, and the soreness in his body surged back.
Ji Su rested for a while, then picked up his phone and opened WeChat to check his messages.
Qiao Jin: [Su Su, I'm planning to visit Zhou Yang's hometown tomorrow!]
Ji Su: [That's great, have fun.]
Ji Su: [Contact me anytime if you need anything.]
Qiao Jin: [I sent you a message last night, and you only replied tonight!]
Ji Su: [Sorry, Xiao Qiao, I was busy last night...]
Qiao Jin: [With what? It wasn't with Senior Gu, was it...?]
Ji Su looked at the text in the chat box, and the chaotic and absurd day and night couldn't help but resurface in his mind...
Qiao Jin: [Holy crap? Did I actually hit the nail on the head?]
Ji Su: [Yes...]
Qiao Jin: [Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!]
Qiao Jin: [Su Su, my darling, are you... oh no, is your butt okay now?]
Ji Su: [Not really.]
Qiao Jin: [Are you hurt?]
Qiao Jin: [That asshole Gu Zhao! Did he go too rough?]
Ji Su: [Not exactly, it's just... well, it's hard to explain in a few words.]
Actually, apart from the initial difficulty, it was really comfortable later on, but the comfort went overboard and turned into another kind of pain...
Qiao Jin: [I get it, I get it, given the hardware conditions, after all.]
Qiao Jin: [How many times?]
Ji Su: [I'm not sure, I passed out later...]
Qiao Jin: [Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!]
Qiao Jin: [Su Su, my darling, I really don't know whether to feel sorry for you or envy you...]
Ji Su: [I think you should feel sorry for me.]
Qiao Jin: [You'll get used to it, hehe...]
Qiao Jin: [Any other details you can share?]
Just as Ji Su was about to reply, there was a knock on the door.
He quickly turned off his phone, feeling inexplicably guilty.
Gu Zhao pushed the door open, "Are you done?"
Ji Su replied, "Yes, I'm done."
Gu Zhao walked in, "Dinner is ready."
Ji Su got up from the bed with his laptop and moved as slowly as a patient in rehabilitation.
Gu Zhao wanted to carry him again, but Ji Su firmly refused.
The two of them went to the living room, and Ji Su sat down at the dining table. After a moment of hesitation, he spoke up, "Gu Zhao, I think we still need an agreement between us."
Gu Zhao paused his actions: "What agreement?"
Ji Su replied: "The couple agreement."
Gu Zhao raised an eyebrow slightly: "For example?"
"For example—" Ji Su's eyes wandered, "For example, the issue of frequency."
"Oh?" Gu Zhao asked with interest, "Then what frequency do you think is appropriate?"
"Once a week..." Ji Su changed his words under his gaze, "Twice a week?"
Gu Zhao laughed: "When you say twice, do you mean yours or mine?"
Ji Su's face slowly turned red: "Why are you like this?"
"So, it's still up for discussion," Gu Zhao said lightly, "Let's eat first."
…….
After dinner, Ji Su took advantage of Gu Zhao's inattention and sneaked back to the second bedroom before swiftly locking the door behind him.
Not long after, Gu Zhao's voice sounded outside the door: "I'm coming in."
Ji Su didn't respond and pretended to be asleep.
Gu Zhao, getting no response, tried to turn the doorknob but couldn't open it.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, then turned and left the doorway.
Hearing the footsteps fade away, Ji Su let out a long sigh of relief and turned over to lie on the bed.
The phone on the bedside table vibrated. He stretched his arm to reach it and found that Ji Chen had sent him another message.
Ji Chen: [Bro, it's been a long time since summer vacation started. When are you coming back?]
Ji Su: [I have some things to do at school, so I can't go back for now.]
Ji Chen: [Can I come visit you again?]
Ji Chen: [I promise I won't cause any trouble!]
Ji Su hesitated for a moment, then decided to refuse.
Ji Su: [I've been really busy lately, so it's not convenient.]
Ji Chen: [Alright...]
Ji Chen: [Let me know when you're done with your work, bro!]
Ji Su: [Okay.]
Ji Su: [Get some rest early.]
After ending the chat, Ji Su closed his eyes, and drowsiness gradually set in.
After an unknown amount of time, he turned over in his half-asleep state but vaguely felt something wet on his leg, as if a puppy was licking it.
It wasn't until his body reflexively shivered that Ji Su suddenly opened his eyes.
It wasn't a puppy at all—it was Gu Zhao kissing him...
"Locking the door?" Gu Zhao chuckled softly before speaking unhurriedly, "You can guard against everything, but not the thief in your own house."
Ji Su, of course, couldn't admit it and defended himself weakly: "I wasn't guarding against you, I just did it out of habit..."
Gu Zhao looked at him: "Is that so?"
Ji Su was a bit puzzled: "But I locked the door, so how did you still get in?"
Gu Zhao hooked a set of keys from his pocket and dangled them in front of him.
Ji Su: "..."
"If you hadn't woken up..." Gu Zhao leaned in close to whisper in his ear, "I could have..."
Ji Su's ears tingled, and he raised his hand to cover his thin lips: "Stop talking."
Gu Zhao took the opportunity to kiss his soft palm: "I won't just talk, I'll put it into practice."
Ji Su, feeling both shy and annoyed, retracted his hand as if electrocuted: "Why are you like this..."
Gu Zhao, far from being ashamed, seemed proud: "That's just how I am."
Ji Su couldn't outtalk him, nor was he stronger, so he simply turned his back and ignored him.
Gu Zhao lay down beside him before pulling him into his arms: "Are you really mad?"
Ji Su's back pressed against his warm chest, and he said angrily: "I'm mad."
“I’ve been saving up for over twenty years, so I couldn’t control myself for a moment.” Gu Zhao lowered his head to kiss the tender nape of Ji Su’s neck. “Be understanding, baby.”
Ji Su’s neck turned red, and he pursed his lips without saying a word.
Gu Zhao kissed him again. “Alright, let’s sleep.”
Ji Su confirmed, “Really, just sleep?”
“Mhm.” Gu Zhao lowered his gaze. “Or are you expecting something?”
“No!” Ji Su denied without hesitation. “Let’s sleep together.”
After saying that, he realized the ambiguity of his words and added, “Just sleep, nothing else.”
Gu Zhao chuckled deeply, his chest vibrating slightly.
Ji Su, annoyed by his laughter, turned around in his arms and bumped his forehead against Gu Zhao, only to hurt himself against the firm chest muscles.
Gu Zhao tightened his arms, his tone slightly dangerous. “Don’t want to sleep anymore?”
Ji Su quickly buried his face in the crook of Gu Zhao’s neck, pretending to fall asleep instantly.
However, in the middle of the night, Ji Su woke up feeling hot.
The room’s air conditioning was set to a comfortable temperature, but the body holding him was too warm, like a small furnace radiating heat.
Ji Su didn’t want to wake Gu Zhao, so he carefully tried to move away slowly.
Gu Zhao, without opening his eyes, casually pulled him back.
“It’s so hot…” Ji Su mumbled softly. “I think I’m sweating.”
“Hmm?” Gu Zhao opened his eyes and placed a large hand on the sweaty nape of Ji Su’s neck, indeed feeling the heat and moisture.
Ji Su squirmed in his arms. “Gu Zhao, I want to take a shower.”
Normally, someone woken up in the middle of the night might be a little irritable, but Gu Zhao showed no sign of annoyance.
He let go, got up, and lifted Ji Su by the waist.
He carried Ji Su into the master bedroom’s bathroom and set him down.
Ji Su’s feet touched the ground, and he blushed as he pushed Gu Zhao away. “I can shower by myself.”
If he showered with Gu Zhao, it might end up like last time…
Gu Zhao reached out to turn on the shower, then pressed Ji Su against the sink with his voice slightly hoarse. “Let me help you.”
Ji Su was forced to bend over to face the mirror as he leaned against the cool marble countertop.
The height is just right…
