Chapter 58

Online Dating Fiasco with the Campus Heartthrob (DATING)

Although he didn’t understand, Ji Su had a feeling that wearing the Cat tail wasn’t going to be simple. He shook his head, "No, I don’t want to know."

As he shook his head, the small Cat ears on his head swayed adorably.

Gu Zhao took the Cat tail from his hand, leaned in to kiss him, and coaxed in a low voice, "Be good and put it on yourself."

Ji Su naively thought he could avoid wearing the tail and bent down to pick up the box, "Then I’ll go to the bathroom to put it on."

Gu Zhao didn’t stop him, "Go ahead."

Ji Su walked into the bathroom, placed the box on the sink, and began to figure out how to wear the items.

He knew how to put on the Bell collar—Qiao Jin had taught him before—and he had worn various Lace suspender stockings many times, so he was quite familiar with them.

Ji Su pulled out a piece of fabric that looked like a top from the box. He blushed as he put it on, and then picked up another two-piece fabric.

He examined it carefully and realized it seemed to be a skirt but with openings from both in the front and back…

Ji Su clutched the thin fabric in his hands with his fair cheeks flushed red, completely at a loss on how to wear it.

Where on earth did Gu Zhao find such strange clothes, and why did he insist on seeing him wear them? It was really too perverse…

Perhaps he had been dawdling in the bathroom for too long as Gu Zhao’s voice came from outside the door, "Can’t figure it out? Let me come in and help you."

"No need!" Ji Su's fingers tightened as he stammered in reply, "I-I'll be done soon..."

Since he had to wear it out anyway, he closed his eyes, steeled his heart, and put on the last piece of the outfit.

With a "click" Ji Su turned the doorknob and slowly shuffled out.

Gu Zhao, sitting at the foot of the bed, looked up at the sound and instantly held his breath.

Before him stood a snow-white kitten. The blush on its cheeks was as beautiful and tempting as the cat ears. A bell collar adorned its slender neck, and two thin straps hung over its delicate, hollow collarbone. The fluffy chest pad barely covered its chest.

His gaze continued downward. Lace ribbons crisscrossed over the pale, narrow waist, securing the two-piece tulle skirt. The lace leg rings connected to the white silk stockings, leaving a completely open space in the middle, where only a slender, beautiful hand blocked the view, adding an alluring sense of reluctance.

It made one want to remove that hand and roughly part those long, straight legs to admire the hidden scenery...

Ji Su stood barefoot on the floor with his pale pink toes curling up in shy unease.

Gu Zhao's Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hard.

"I..." Ji Su lifted his lashes to look at him pitifully, "Can I take it off now?"

"No." Gu Zhao picked up the cat tail behind him, "You haven't put this on yet."

Ji Su hesitated and took a step back, "But that one can't be worn..."

Gu Zhao didn't respond. He opened a drawer, took out a tube of ointment, and applied it to the teardrop-shaped metal ball at the tip of the tail.

His large, bony hand gripped the long, thick tail with his thumb continuously circling the metal ball and his dark, intense gaze never leaving the shy kitten.

Ji Su felt his entire body heating up under that stare. The exposed snow-white skin turned red as if steamed by heat.

Only when the surface of the metal ball became smooth and glossy did Gu Zhao finally speak, "Come here."

Ji Su inched forward with a faint sense of unease growing in his heart.

That thing, could it be...

But Gu Zhao's patience seemed to have finally run out.

He stretched out his arm, scooped the little cat into his embrace, and pinned it on his lap.

Ji Su lay on the firm thigh, feeling a cool breeze behind him. He instinctively struggled, "Gu Zhao, what are you doing... Mmm..."

With a loud "smack" a scorching palm came down, causing the plump and round buttocks to tremble.

Ji Su let out a soft cry from the pain, "It hurts..."

"Baby, be good," Gu Zhao picked up the long cat tail, his voice low and hoarse, "Didn't you want to know how to wear it? I'll teach you..."

The little cat was both obedient and beautiful, but its strength was too weak. The pink paw pads were soft, and even when the claws dug into the tense muscles, it felt like a tickle. The little cat was bullied by the big dog until it was whimpering and crying.

The fluffy cat tail became wet, and along with the constant jingling of the collar bell, it swayed up and down, making one dizzy.

When his vision started to blur, Ji Su suddenly remembered the trick Qiao Jin had taught him.

He lifted his weak arm to wrap it around the sweaty neck, and called out in a trembling voice, "Hubby... Mmm..."

Gu Zhao's hand on the slender waist tightened abruptly until veins bulge on his temples, "What did you call me?"

Ji Su was too embarrassed so he just bit his lower lip and refused to say it again.

Gu Zhao's eyes turned red, like a starving beast before biting down hard on its prey...

……..

From Friday night onwards, Ji Su spent most of his time in bed.

When he was thirsty, someone would feed him water; when he was hungry, someone would feed him food; even bathing was taken care of by someone else.

It wasn't until Sunday noon, when he woke up and saw that Gu Zhao wasn't in the room, that he immediately dragged his weak legs back to his own room and locked the door.

Gu Zhao returned to the master bedroom and couldn't find him. He came to the door of the second bedroom and knocked, "Baby?"

"I need to work on my assignment." Ji Su replied weakly while lying on the soft quilt.

Gu Zhao tried to twist the doorknob, "Let's eat something first."

When he couldn't open the door, he chuckled, "Didn't I tell you I have the key? Why did you lock it again?"

Ji Su thought about it and realized he was right. He got up, walked to the door, opened it, and hid behind it cautiously, "You can't do it again."

"I won't." Gu Zhao squeezed in, picked him up horizontally, and carried him towards the living room.

After eating, Gu Zhao carried him back to the room and placed him on the chair in front of the desk, "Work on your drawing. Call me if you need anything."

Ji Su tilted his head, "Are we going back to school tonight?"

"Not tonight." Gu Zhao lowered his head and kissed the red and swollen lips, "I'll wake you up tomorrow morning. We'll make it in time."

Ji Su said, "But I don't want to be late again..."

"You won't be late." Gu Zhao promised with a smile, "I'll let you have a good night's sleep tonight."

Ji Su was half-convinced but chose to trust him one more time.

In the evening, Ji Su took a shower first and lay on the bed scrolling through his phone.

A moment later, Gu Zhao came out of the bathroom, still damp from showering.

He lay down on the bed and habitually pulled Ji Su into his arms.

Ji Su lifted his face in Gu Zhao's embrace, "Gu Zhao, can I ask you a question?"

Gu Zhao responded casually, "Hmm?"

"Are you..." Before he could finish the question, Ji Su's face turned red, "Are you a bit... addicted..."

Gu Zhao raised an eyebrow slightly, "Addicted to what?"

Ji Su buried his face in his chest like an ostrich: "It's just that..."

Gu Zhao didn't respond and instead let out a deep, muffled laugh.

Ji Su's ears burned: "Stop laughing."

"I'm not." Gu Zhao tightened his arms and kissed the top of his head, "I'm just addicted to you."

"Oh..." Ji Su felt a mix of lingering fear and a hint of joy as he whispered, "Can't you control yourself a little?"

Gu Zhao pinched the back of his neck and asked, "Don't you like it?"

Ji Su couldn't lie and say he didn't like it, but he also didn't want to give the other more leeway, so he chose to close his eyes and pretend to sleep.

Not getting an answer, Gu Zhao's smile deepened: "If you don't say anything, I'll take it as you admitting you really like it."

Ji Su, both embarrassed and annoyed, hit him lightly: "I'm tired, let's sleep!"

…….

On Monday morning, it was time for the big English class. Ji Su entered the lecture hall five minutes early.

Qiao Jin had already saved a seat and was waving vigorously at him: "Over here!"

Ji Su walked over, greeted him, and sat down before pulling out his English textbook from his bag.

As he moved, his shirt sleeve rode up a bit, revealing his slender, pale wrist.

Qiao Jin, with sharp eyes, noticed the red marks on his wrist and asked in a hushed voice, "Su Su, what happened to your hand?"

Ji Su pursed his lips and exchanged a look with him.

Qiao Jin understood: "I get it, Senior Gu did it."

Ji Su blushed and pulled his sleeve down to cover the marks on his wrist.

"Gu Zhao is really fierce." Qiao Jin clicked his tongue, "Didn't you follow the advice I gave you?"

Ji Su: "..."

It was precisely because of that "husband" that Gu Zhao was more excited than usual and made him suffer even more.

The red marks on his wrist were nothing; his chest and legs were covered with various unsightly marks, fortunately, they could be covered with clothes...

Qiao Jin persisted: "Did you not call him or did it not work?"

Just then, the class bell rang.

Ji Su turned his face away and gently reminded him, "Class is starting, pay attention."

On Monday evening, the school basketball team had practice.

After dinner at the cafeteria, Ji Su parted ways with Gu Zhao, planning to return to the dorm first.

He was chatting with Qiao Jin as they walked towards the dorm when he spotted a familiar figure in the distance.

Ji Su paused while frowning slightly.

Qiao Jin wondered, "Why has your brother come to the school again?"

Ji Su shook his head: "I don't know."

Ji Chen also saw him and ran over: "Brother!"

Standing still, Ji Su asked, "What do you need?"

"Brother..." Ji Chen hesitated, "How have you been recently?"

"I'm fine." Ji Su replied coldly, "I've already cut ties with the Ji family, so you don't need to call me brother anymore."

"Brother! Are you serious?" Ji Chen panicked as he raised his voice, "Dad was just angry for a moment, if you apologize, it'll be over. We're family forever!"

"Apologize?" Qiao Jin looked incredulous, "Are you crazy? Why should Su Su apologize to that old geezer?"

Ji Chen instinctively defended his father: "Who are you calling an old geezer?"

"I'm calling Ji Zheng Hai an old geezer!" Qiao Jin stepped forward, "Not just that, I'm calling you a green tea bitch too!"

"You—" Ji Chen had never been insulted like this before and lunged forward, wanting to hit him.

Without a word, Ji Su pulled Qiao Jin behind him, shielding him.

Ji Chen's fist froze mid-ai with his face flushed with anger.

"Do you still think you're innocent after I scolded you?" Qiao Jin seized the opportunity and unleashed a torrent of words, "Innocent my ass! Are you blind or deaf? You've been in the Ji family for so many years, yet you can't see your brother's situation at all? You have your dad's love and your mom's care, and getting whatever you want. What does your brother have?"

Ji Chen lowered his clenched fist, trying to defend himself, "I—"

"Do you know that every time you make the slightest fuss, your dad immediately orders your brother around? And you still have the nerve to keep bothering him? You say you like him, but you don't even know he's allergic to seafood. You say you like him, but you don't know he doesn't want to return to that Ji family at all?" Qiao Jin grew angrier as he spoke, not giving the other a chance to speak, "And you dare to make Ji Su apologize? What exactly did he do wrong? If this is your so-called 'like,' then your 'like' is way too cheap! Let me tell you—"

"Xiao Qiao," Ji Su interrupted him, "Enough, stop."

Qiao Jin reluctantly closed his mouth but continued to glare fiercely at Ji Chen.

After all, he was just a teenager. Ji Chen turned pale after hearing those words. He looked at Ji Su with a pitiful and hurt expression, "Brother... do you think the same way?"

"Xiao Chen, I've told you it's not your fault, and I don't hate you," Ji Su lowered his lashes, "But I don't want to have any more ties with anyone from the Ji family. Can you understand that?"

Ji Chen still clung to a sliver of hope, "Brother, will you really never come home again?"

Ji Su's tone was firm, "No."

"My mom..." Ji Chen lowered his head before speaking with difficulty, "My mom wants to see you. She has something to tell you..."

"What does your mom want?" Qiao Jin couldn't help but interject, "Is she here to shed crocodile tears?"

Ji Su furrowed his brow, "Did something happen?"

Based on his understanding of Aunt Qin, she could make everything appear flawless on the surface, but deep down, she had never treated him as family.

So Aunt Qin couldn't possibly be here to persuade him to return to the Ji family. The only possibility was that something had happened in the Ji family.

"I'm not sure either..." Ji Chen looked up, pleading, "Brother, just go see Mom once."

Ji Su remained silent for a moment before refusing, "The Ji family's matters have nothing to do with me. You should go back."

With that, he stepped around Ji Chen and walked toward the dormitory entrance.

"Ji Su," a woman's voice suddenly called out from behind him after a few steps, "Can you spare Auntie a few minutes?"

Ji Su turned around and greeted politely, "Aunt Qin."

Aunt Qin's makeup was as immaculate as ever, but it couldn't hide the exhaustion in her expression, "Just a few minutes. I won't take up too much of your time."

Ji Su nodded, "Alright."

The two walked to the side, tacitly understanding each other. Aunt Qin began, "Su Su, your father's company is in serious trouble and is about to go bankrupt."

Ji Su couldn't help but be surprised, "When did this happen?"

"It's complicated, but in short, the company has encountered malicious business competition." Aunt Qin summarized the current crisis in a few sentences. "The company has lost several major contracts in a row and was reported for non-compliant production, resulting in a hefty fine. The capital chain has completely broken."

Ji Su calmly asked, "So why have you come to me?"

The money owed to the Ji family had already been repaid by Gu Zhao on his behalf. He couldn't possibly ask Gu Zhao for money now to fill the company's financial hole.

Aunt Qin continued, "Your father is overwhelmed. After investigating layer by layer, he discovered that the mastermind behind this is actually someone from the Gu family."

Ji Su's heart skipped a beat. "The Gu family?"

"Your father is baffled. We have no past grievances or recent conflicts with the Gu family, so why are they targeting us?" Aunt Qin's gaze fixed on him. "It wasn't until yesterday that your brother accidentally mentioned that you are good friends with Gu Zhao, the grandson of Master Gu."

At this point, the situation became clear.

Ji Su also recalled that afternoon during the summer when Gu Zhao stood on the balcony talking to Eldest Brother Gu on the phone. He was probably discussing this matter.

"Ji Su, I'm begging you, please show some mercy." Aunt Qin's tears came instantly, leaving two white streaks on her face. "I know you resent your father, but he is still your biological father. Without him, there would be no you. Can you really bear to push your own father to the brink of death?"

Ji Su clenched his teeth and didn't argue.

Whether he was aware of this matter or not, what Gu Zhao did was no different from what he did.

In a way, they were one.

"If you're angry, take it out on me." Aunt Qin took a step closer to reach out to grab his hand. "Hit me to vent your anger, as long as you can let go—"

However, she didn't even manage to touch Ji Su's sleeve.

Gu Zhao pulled Ji Su into his arms and took two steps back.

Ji Su looked up in a daze at the man who always seemed to descend like a god.

Aunt Qin staggered slightly but managed to steady herself. "You are..."

Gu Zhao held the person in his arms with one hand and replied coldly, "I did it. It has nothing to do with Ji Su. If you have the guts, tell Ji Zheng Hai to come find me."
