The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)
Yue Chu couldn't be bothered to deal with this lunatic. His gaze drifted to the train window to look out at the distant green mountains.
However, the peace didn't last long. The man took out a box of yogurt, inserted a straw, and handed it to Yue Chu with a stiff smile, trying to please him. "Thirsty? Have some yogurt."
Yue Chu felt a vein on his forehead twitch. His dark eyes sharply glanced at the man's hand, which was very naturally resting on his thigh.
This guy really didn't know when to stop.
A loud bang echoed through the train, followed by panicked shouts.
For the rest of the journey, Yue Chu sat in the security office and kept staring at the train police officer.
Since the man kept insisting that they were friends and it was all just a joke, Yue Chu eventually got off the train unharmed.
As he walked through the crowded crowd, he noticed the man following him from the corner of his eye. His anger turned into silence, and a cold smile curved his lips.
After leaving the station, he didn't immediately take the subway. Instead, he turned left and right along the wide road before heading into the alleys.
The man followed him at a distance, and no matter how many turns Yue Chu took, he could easily catch up.
Until one corner, the man realized Yue Chu had disappeared. He frowned before anxiously looking around.
But as soon as he turned around, he was met with another heavy punch. This time, no one stopped Yue Chu, and he could finally vent his anger.
The man didn't dare to fight back, and just covered his face and curled up on the ground, letting Yue Chu kick and punch him.
When Yue Chu had enough, he grabbed the man by the collar, half-lifting him up. His dark eyes were filled with a cold warning and his sharp gaze almost piercing the man's skin, reaching into his bones.
"If you dare to harass someone like this again, I'll break your third leg."
The man stared at Yue Chu and quickly nodded at his words. But his serious expression was paired with an idiotic smile, which didn't calm Yue Chu down but made him even more annoyed.
It was like punching cotton, soft and without any force.
He suddenly let go of the man's collar, feeling that dealing with such a fool was a waste of time.
After giving the man one last kick, Yue Chu elegantly straightened his hair and turned to leave.
Watching his retreating figure, the man chuckled softly while touching the wounds on his face.
He spread his arms wide before squinting happily at the cloudless blue sky, and said cheerfully, "There's no one else, only you."
When Yue Chu returned to his apartment, he felt like he had encountered more lunatics today than in his entire life. Indeed, when his phone had problems, he should have known it wasn't a good time to go out, otherwise, he wouldn't have been so unlucky.
When he reached the third floor, he found two people standing at his door. It was none other than the mother and son he had once helped.
Seeing the cute boy, he finally showed a slight smile, walked over, and patted his head, asking, "What brings you here?"
The boy nodded solemnly and placed a golden seed in Yue Chu's hand. The seed was plump, wrapped in gold foil, and even in the dim light, it shone brightly.
The little boy looked up at him, tightened his grip on the ball in his hand, and said in a childish voice, "Thank you, big brother, for taking care of me all this time. I’m leaving with my mom and dad."
Yue Chu’s eyes flickered slightly, but he didn’t ask any questions. Instead, he solemnly accepted the golden seed the boy handed him and gave him a handful of milk candies in return.
"We’ll meet again if fate allows. Take good care of your mom and dad from now on."
The boy nodded, happily revealing his missing tooth, and then bowed deeply to Yue Chu before taking his mother’s hand and disappearing around the corner of the staircase, still clutching his ball.
Yue Chu quietly watched them leave 2ith his fingers gently brushing over the smooth surface of the golden seed. A soft smile rippled in his clear, black-and-white eyes.
They seemed like a happy family.
Just as he was about to open the door and enter his home, he saw Feng Xuan walking slowly down the stairs while clutching her arm and lost in thought, her head lowered.
Yue Chu immediately strode forward with his brow furrowed as he looked at her arm, where there were clear signs of a stab wound.
His expression turned cold. "I’ll take you to the hospital."
Feng Xuan hadn’t expected to run into him. She had carefully timed her actions to avoid Yue Chu’s return, so how had she been caught red-handed at just the wrong moment?
At this thought, her heart raced, and her eyes darted around nervously, unable to meet Yue Chu’s gaze.
She turned her back, trying to hide her injury from him.
Yue Chu watched her quietly, then carefully took hold of her arm, preventing her from covering it.
Fortunately, the injury wasn’t too severe—just a minor skin wound—but such an injury on a young girl was still deeply concerning.
He softened his voice and said gently, "I won’t ask why you’re hurt, but you must come with me to the hospital to get it treated. Seeing you like this, it hurts my heart."
Feng Xuan was momentarily stunned. Her long eyelashes fluttered rapidly as a wave of bitterness surged in her chest.
People are like this—they remain strong when no one cares, but the moment someone shows concern, they instantly become fragile.
She had thought she could endure everything on her own, but faced with Yue Chu’s caring gaze, her heart ached, and tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
Just as she had imagined countless times in her childhood, she threw herself into Yue Chu’s embrace as her thin shoulders kept trembling uncontrollably. She bit her lower lip to swallow all her sobs.
Yue Chu’s heart ached as he gently stroked her back. This frail girl had endured too much pain and sorrow in life, and her small frame was already worn out.
Yet, she always remained silent and strong, preferring to lick her wounds alone in a corner rather than rely on others.
He whispered soothingly, "It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m here. You don’t need to be afraid of anything."
Only after calming Feng Xuan down did Yue Chu take her to the hospital.
By the time they left the hospital, it was already evening.
The full moon hung in the sky with its gentle light bathing the earth, while a soft night breeze brushed past.
The trees lining the road scattered cotton-like white fluff into the air.
Under the streetlights, a few moths fluttered their delicate wings and circled the bright lights. Occasionally, a car sped by with a roar.
Yue Chu and Feng Xuan walked side by side on the street, with his tall frame shielding her petite figure from most of the wind.
He didn’t ask any questions, but his warm embrace and sturdy arms conveyed his unwavering support to the fragile girl.
Feng Xuan tightened the coat draped over her shoulders. Her brother's jacket still carried a faint, indescribable scent that brought her a sense of comfort just by smelling it.
Her eyes shimmered, and her heart felt as if it had been dipped in a jar of honey, so sweet that it made her nose tingle. A tear escaped from the corner of her eye and slid down her cheek to the corner of her mouth.
She licked the tear and found it wasn’t salty but sweet, causing her to break into a smile.
Only after the tears on her face had dried did she raise her head to look at Yue Chu’s handsome profile. Her large, beautiful eyes were as clear as when Yue Chu had first seen them.
"Brother, if I did something wrong, would you hate me?"
Yue Chu looked down at the girl. Her face, though not particularly beautiful, was filled with a sacrificial determination, yet it also resembled a moth about to throw itself into a flame, despairing and devoid of any hope.
He stared intently into Feng Xuan’s dark, bright eyes: "I wouldn’t hate you, but I would ask you why and help you correct it."
He tightly grasped Feng Xuan’s cold little hand, his eyes calm like the sea, vast enough to embrace everything: "So, can you tell me why?"
Feng Xuan curled her lips, but tears involuntarily streamed down her face. She didn’t want to appear so weak, but facing those eyes filled with concern, her grievances poured out like floodwaters from an opened dam.
"Because I hate them! They’re all devils, all scum!"
Yue Chu furrowed his brows, his gaze burning with anger as he asked in a deep voice, "Did they bully you?!"
Feng Xuan nodded through her tears.
For over twenty years, her grievances had never been voiced, her pain never seen. Only now could she, like any ordinary little girl, confide her sorrows to her brother.
Yue Chu pulled her into his arms, his heart aching as he gently stroked the girl’s thin back. His voice carried a steady reassurance: "Don’t be afraid. Brother will help you. I’ll make sure they pay."
Feng Xuan clung tightly to Yue Chu’s shirt and sobbing uncontrollably. It felt as if all her pain and sorrow had vanished in this embrace.
Yue Chu’s heart ached deeply. The girl had already suffered enough, yet fate seemed unwilling to let her go.
After a long while, Feng Xuan finally calmed down slightly. She lifted her little face and smiled at him, her voice soft and sweet again: "Thank you, brother. I’m so happy. But it’s okay now. I’ve already driven them away. They won’t be able to bully me anymore."
Yue Chu cupped her face in his hands and repeatedly confirmed that everything was alright before reluctantly letting the matter rest.
He carefully instructed her, "If anything like this happens again, you must tell me. I’ll help you solve all your problems. All you need to do is be happy every day."
Feng Xuan nodded with a sweet smile before leaning affectionately against Yue Chu’s chest. Deep within her smiling eyes, a dark mist lingered, but it slowly dissolved in the warmth of his embrace.
After soothing the girl to sleep, Yue Chu returned to his room. He took a quick shower and lay down on the bed.
The night grew deeper, and even the starlight in the sky was hidden by the darkness. In the profound silence, only the white gauze curtains fluttered softly, swaying with a gentle rhythm.
Yue Chu fell asleep. His beautiful sleeping face is particularly enchanting in the thick night, like a sleeping beauty waiting for a prince’s kiss to awaken him.
At that moment, a corner of his quilt was silently lifted. An invisible entity slipped in before pressing tightly against his body.
He frowned slightly as he felt uncomfortable, and turned over to lie on his side. However, this position made it even easier for the entity to envelop him from behind, letting out a silent sigh of satisfaction.
‘I don’t mean to take advantage, I just want to warm his bed.’
The night passed without dreams.
Yue Chu was in exceptionally good spirits today. Despite being busy until late last night, he had expected to feel exhausted upon waking. Instead, he felt as if he had been injected with adrenaline, full of energy.
In his cheerful mood, he finally remembered the online friend he had neglected for two days. His eyes flickered, and a slight smile curved his lips. Taking advantage of the faint morning light, he picked up his phone and took a selfie.
He sent it directly to Fang Tian, along with a message: "Good morning, would you like a cup of hot cocoa?"
Fang Tian, who had guiltily returned to the Otherworld before dawn, was hit with this unexpected message. His heart felt like it couldn’t take it, almost as if it would burst through the sturdy door.
His wildly fluctuating emotions were identified as highly dangerous by the seal, which glowed with golden light, attempting to trap him firmly.
Golden chains slowly crawled across the dark surface of the Nine Dragon Gate while emitting a sizzling sound as if burning. The door was covered in streaks of scars, which continuously healed under Fang Tian’s formidable regenerative ability.
Fang Tian, seemingly oblivious, struggled to breathe as he stared at the enlarged photo.
In the photo, Yue Chu was wearing a simple white shirt. Perhaps because he had risen early, the top buttons of his shirt were not fully fastened, loosely revealing his slender neck and delicate collarbone.
He was smiling, exuding a lazy, just-awakened charm. His right hand held a white porcelain cup that partially obscured his handsome face.
Sunlight streamed in through the window at an angle, casting a golden glow on his jet-black hair, which was casually and loosely draped over the side of his face.
Fang Tian took a deep breath, then another, and kept repeating it several times before tremblingly typing out a few disoriented words: "This hot cocoa looks really good."
Yue Chu raised an eyebrow and slowly typed a question mark.
Only then did Fang Tian realize his mistake and quickly tried to correct himself: "No, I mean, this person looks really good to drink."
Yue Chu chuckled softly before taking a sip of the hot cocoa he had just made.
It was indeed delicious.
Fang Tian was utterly mortified! His face red with embarrassment as he tried to salvage the situation: "No, that’s not what I meant. I mean… the hot cocoa is good."
‘Ahhhh!’
Fang Tian felt like he was being incredibly stupid.
Indeed, facing someone in person was not the same as using a substitute. When he used a substitute, he was thick-skinned.
No, when he used a substitute, he was exceptionally clever.
Yue Chu didn’t dwell on it and instead casually said, "Well, I made this myself. I’ll have the chance to let you try it sometime."
Fang Tian’s eyes lit up.
Sitting with Yue Chu and drinking coffee—that would be pure bliss~
He immediately agreed, and was already starting to plan what he would wear that day.
Yue Chu chatted with him for a bit longer before getting straight to the point: "I’d like to ask you for a favor, is that okay?"
‘Yes, yes, absolutely yes!’
Finally having the chance to show off in front of Yue Chu, Fang Tian was so excited that his eyes were practically glowing.
He rubbed his hands together, eager to showcase his abilities, charm, and strength.
Yue Chu: "Can you help me investigate the Xie family in the southern part of the city? The more secretive the information, the better."
For Fang Tian, this was a piece of cake, but still...
"You're not interested in that sickly kid from the Xie family in the southern part of the city, are you?"
Yue Chu was almost amused by the assumption and replied helplessly, "Of course not. On the contrary, I have a grudge against their family."
