The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)
The mahogany bed exuded an incongruous antique charm with the bedding and curtains all in a vibrant red, scattered with peanuts, red dates, and other auspicious items. Amidst this jubilant sea of color, Yue Chu, clad in bridal attire, sat upright with his head covered with a red veil and his hands clasped on his lap.
His fingers were long and pale, as if meticulously carved from the finest jade and exuding a seductive allure against the red bridal gown, making it impossible to look away.
Fang Tian found it even harder to resist. His gaze was fixed intently as he approached step by step, like a lurking predator that silently closing in on its prey.
However, within two minutes, Yue Chu heard a loud thud and, through the hem of the red gauze, saw Fang Tian sprawled flat on the ground.
He chuckled softly. His clear voice resonating in the quiet room like the sound of jade falling, instantly causing Fang Tian's face to flush red.
"Husband, there's no need for such a grand gesture."
Fang Tian was utterly embarrassed. He wish he could vanish into the ground!
‘Damn it, why did I have to make a fool of myself in front of Yue Chu!’
Without even bothering to get up properly, he stiffly rose like a zombie, quickly brushed off the dust, and strode over to Yue Chu.
Yue Chu looked up at him while pointing to the Auspicious Scale placed to the side with his eyes curved with amusement. "Hurry up and lift my veil."
Fang Tian's dark eyes mechanically shifted twice before he finally reacted and pick up the Auspicious Scale and lifting Yue Chu's veil.
Yue Chu was still adorned with makeup with his features as exquisite as a painting, his red lips vibrant, and a large red Floral Applique gracing his forehead, enhancing his unparalleled beauty and ethereal charm.
His clear, black-and-white eyes rippled like gentle waves, with their tender light cascading towards Fang Tian, leaving him dizzy and at a loss for how to respond.
By the time he regained his senses, he was already seated on the narrow bed as he was pulled there by Yue Chu, and holding a delicate small wine cup.
Yue Chu intimately linked his arm with his. Their proximity was so close that they could almost see the emotions in each other's eyes.
He parted his red lips while leaning close to Fang Tian's indifferent expression, and said with a radiant smile, "Husband, why aren't you saying anything?"
Fang Tian looked at him while feeling as if his very soul was being drawn in, yet amidst this intimacy, a sourness welled up in his heart.
‘Why could Yue Chu be so gentle with a stranger? Could it be that he liked the appearance of this body?’
The more Fang Tian thought about it, the angrier he became.
He abruptly withdrew his hand and placed the wine cup aside. In his haste, half the wine spilled onto the table.
Yue Chu raised an eyebrow, wondering what was wrong.
Fang Tian pursed his lips with his throat moving for a while before he managed to squeeze out a sentence, "Why did you marry me?"
Yue Chu was momentarily stunned—wasn't this all arranged by him...
Gently swirling the carved wine cup in his hand, he leaned against Fang Tian with a soft gaze and a lingering smile, "Naturally, it's because I like you."
Fang Tian was furious, feeling as if his entire being was burning, his vision blurring and his temples throbbing.
‘What was so great about him that Yue Chu could like him at first sight?!’
Clenching his teeth, Fang Tian carefully detached Yue Chu from him, removed his outer garment, shoes, and socks, and directly tucked him into the bed.
His gaze was cold and his lips pressed into a straight line. "You sleep first. I'll go somewhere else tonight."
Yue Chu grabbed his hand, only to find that Fang Tian's wrist was icy cold, even colder than his already chilly fingers.
He gazed deeply at Fang Tian's stern face with his mind wandering as he imagined a series of scenarios where Fang Tian would inexplicably throw a tantrum.
This habit of his was truly...
"Where are you going? It's so cold here, I can't sleep alone."
Fang Tian's heart trembled violently and he was almost ready to agree on the spot, but the moment he met those affectionate eyes, he instantly cooled down.
He clenched his fingers and while not daring to look at Yue Chu again, abruptly turned and left.
Seeing him leave, Yue Chu didn't try to stop him. Instead, he leisurely turned over, propping his head up with his hand, and watched with a smile as the door slammed shut.
This stubborn temper of his, it really hasn't changed at all.
He rolled over, poured himself a cup of Nuptial Wine, and drank it in one go. The sweet, lingering taste of the wine, with its faint osmanthus fragrance, made him pour himself another cup.
His jade-like fingers lightly traced the rim of the cup, and he narrowed his eyes with a gentle smile: If you like to act, then act to your heart's content.
Fang Tian, in his crimson robe, stormed through the corridor. His overwhelming Evil Qi spreading out like claws that directly knocking over the surrounding tables and chairs.
The ghosts trembled in fear and kept tucking their tails and clutching their heads, and not daring to make a sound as they huddled in the corners.
The players were in even worse shape as they were suffocated by the cold Evil Qi, with the weaker ones even resorting to using life-saving items to stay alive.
Feng Xuan stared intently at the closed door of the bridal chamber in the distance, unable to see what was happening inside.
Watching the ghost groom's condition, her heart sank to the bottom.
‘Brother... has something happened?”
She bit her lip so hard that it bled, but she could only hunch her back and wait for the ghost groom to leave.
Fang Tian didn't even glance at them as he just rushed straight to the well in the courtyard and looked at his reflection in the water.
This body was handsome, but due to years of illness, it looked particularly frail. However, the body and soul didn't quite match, as the originally gentle eyes were now filled with malice.
Fang Tian curled his lips, unimpressed. Indeed, the body he chose last time was too inferior.
‘Should he change bodies?’
‘No, no, that would surely scare Yue Chu.’
Fang Tian frowned deeply and the pressure around him grew even heavier.
Dark clouds gathered over the small world, and blinding lightning tore through the gloomy sky, with rolling thunder making it increasingly hard to breathe.
"Great Lord..."
Seeing the small world on the verge of collapse, the Matchmaker had no choice but to step forward, but she was immediately pinned in place by Fang Tian's piercing gaze after just one word.
Fang Tian looked up at the sky, which was beginning to crack, and impatiently waved his sleeve. The dark clouds and thunder instantly dispersed, and the moon, like a jade plate, reappeared in the night sky.
He paced back and forth, still unable to rest easy, and then turned around in a rush, heading back to the bridal chamber.
As soon as he left, the Matchmaker collapsed to the ground, and the ghosts quickly rushed to help her up, feeling as if their hearts were about to burst from fear.
Feng Xuan clenched her fists while anxiously looking in the direction of Yue Chu, and silently followed.
However, after just a few steps, she was blocked by an invisible wall and could go no further.
‘What's going on?!’
She dared not reveal her identity and could only grit her teeth and endure. Her gaze turned to the surrounding spirits, and seeing their terrified expressions, she gained a new understanding of the ghost groom's identity.
This must be the ultimate boss of this Otherworld.
She looked anxiously toward where Yue Chu was, but there was nothing she could do.
Pei Sheng patted her shoulder, comforting her, "It's alright. Judging by the current situation, he’s at least still alive."
This straightforward, typically male attempt at comfort did not ease Feng Xuan's worries but instead made her even more anxious.
‘Brother…’
Meanwhile, Yue Chu was so relaxed that he even comfortably lay on the bed, even managing to browse web pages on his phone despite having no signal.
Noticing a shadow standing outside the window from the corner of his eye, he slightly curved his lips, put down his phone, and turned to look toward the window.
His loose, jet-black hair cascaded down his shoulders, spreading over his body and the bed like a waterfall of ink.
Yue Chu tapped his lips with his fingers then his pale pink fingertips slowly slid down his slender neck, past his prominent Adam's apple, and toward his flat chest, where he untied the sash at his waist.
The tightly fitted robe immediately loosened, faintly revealing his snow-white chest.
The shadow outside the window immediately stepped forward.
Yue Chu chuckled softly. His face tinged with a faint pink from the alcohol, resembling cherry blossoms blooming in early spring, like clouds or rosy clouds gently falling on his shoulders with the breeze.
The clear yet alluring low laughter made the shadow outside the door swallow hard. Its hands already blatantly gripping the windowsill, yet stubbornly refusing to enter and kept suffering for the sake of his pride.
Yue Chu didn’t mind; after all, it wasn’t him who was suffering. After removing the heavy wedding attire, he lay on the bed wearing only a snow-white undergarment.
Seeing him close his eyes, the candle flame obediently extinguished itself.
The room was silent, with only the shadows of trees swaying irregularly on the white walls, resembling ferocious Evil Spirits.
Yet, no matter how vicious the Evil Spirits were, none dared to approach the room, for standing at the door was Fang Tian.
The full moon climbed higher, and a few stars lazily flickered with unenthusiastic light.
The Otherworld was equally silent, without even the sound of insects.
The spirits lay low, and the players, too frightened to make a sound, kept their mouths shut and eyes wide open, and being alert to their surroundings.
The door to Yue Chu's room opened, and a black shadow silently slipped inside before sitting by the bed without making a sound.
Without needing the faint moonlight, Fang Tian could clearly see Yue Chu's face.
The hazy darkness draped Yue Chu in a layer of shadow, making it seem as though he belonged to the darkness. But once those eyes opened, the gentle brilliance within would illuminate the entire world, dispelling endless mists.
Fang Tian couldn’t help but reach out to gently caressing the air above Yue Chu's face, reluctant to wake him.
He pursed his thin, colorless lips, filled with jealousy as he was unable to understand why Yue Chu would like such a sickly person.
Maybe after returning, he could pretend to be seriously ill and become like this?
Fang Tian silently pondered the possibility as his dark eyes flashing with intense displeasure, yet he couldn’t help but want to transform himself into the person Yue Chu liked.
The master of the Otherworld, troubled by an ordinary human—if his subordinate Da Gui were to find out, his eyes would probably roll out of his head and spin twice.
First, he decided not to overthink it. After all, every moment was worth its weight in gold. Gently lifting the blanket, he unceremoniously slipped inside.
He was the groom, after all, and he could do whatever he wanted with his beautiful bride.
Fang Tian, who became sharp-minded and stopped acting foolish the moment Yue Chu closed his eyes, perfectly justified his actions to himself. Without hesitation, he seized this rare opportunity and tenderly pulled Yue Chu into his arms.
Yue Chu's body was slightly cold, much cooler than that of an average man. Though not soft or warm to hold, it felt so familiar that Fang Tian couldn't help but be captivated.
Like a gentle breeze, he pressed a kiss to Yue Chu's forehead. His gaze was deep and unwavering as he stared at that serene sleeping face.
He felt like a kite with a string and a drifting duckweed that had finally found its roots—he had finally found his own anchor.
And then.
Nothing.
Yue Chu, who hadn’t actually been asleep at all, rolled over in exasperation as he was too lazy to bother with him.
