Chapter 87: Saving the World with Green Tea Photos 20

The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)

As evening approached, Yue Chu gracefully descended with his complexion rosy and his demeanor refreshed, as if nourished by the spring breeze and rain.

His gentle gaze swept over Feng Xuan, signaling her not to worry.

The ghosts gathered around while laughing and teasing with one comment after another.

"Is Madam pleased?"

Yue Chu glanced at the ghost and nodded leisurely.

He was indeed pleased.

The fight had been quite satisfying, especially since Fang Tian's thick skin made him quite durable.

The ghost winked and said, "I knew Madam would enjoy it. You always put on such a show."

Yue Chu chuckled lightly, "Indeed, I don't feel like going home today. I think I'll stay here for another night."

The ghosts' expressions changed drastically.

How could this be?! If Lord returned and found the new Madam missing, he would surely skin them alive.

Although Lord enjoyed role-playing and cuckolding himself, now that the lover's skin had been shed, he was waiting for Madam to return home.

The ghost forced a strained smile and racked his brains to persuade, "This... this won't do. You've just married. If you don't return home at night, it might harm your reputation."

Yue Chu tapped the gilt-edged fan lightly with his gaze distant, "What does it matter? I don't need a reputation now anyway."

The ghosts were almost on their knees.

Reputation was still important, especially since Lord was so insanely obsessed with this script. They were exhausted too.

The ghost, with a mournful face, had no choice but to confess, "If Master returns and doesn't see Madam, he will surely be furious. Please, dear Madam, have mercy. Otherwise, we relatives might never have the chance to visit again."

Yue Chu glanced at him coldly, his voice chilling, "Since you knew this would happen, why did you insist on such a despicable act? If I don't fare well in the mansion, neither will you."

The ghosts trembled in fear.

Was it their fault? They were just diligently following Lord's orders to act as extras. Why were they so unlucky?

But they couldn't say that. The bitterness in their hearts could only be swallowed with blood.

"Madam, please forgive us. We were just envious of your noble character and chaste reputation. With you at home, we were always on edge and kept fearing any mistake that you might seize upon. So we thought... thought if we could drag you down with us..."

Yue Chu's eyes flickered, and he couldn't help but smile.

People were indeed strange. Always eager to drag the virtuous down and persuade the fallen to reform.

He sighed, "I didn't expect you to see me this way, but now it's fine. After all, I am..."

The ghosts shrank back, not daring to speculate, and could only plead earnestly for him to return.

Yue Chu kept them in suspense for a while longer before finally rising gracefully and lazily boarding the sedan chair to return.

The ghosts all breathed a sigh of relief as they finally sent this ancestor back.

Feng Xuan and the other two, who had been running frantically behind, were speechless.

What kind of bizarre twist was this?!

Pei Sheng frowned and looked at Feng Xuan, "What kind of person is your brother?"

Seeing how cautious the ghosts were, one might think the Otherworld was some kind of pure and friendly utopia.

He had originally thought Yue Chu was just protected because he drew the identity card, but now it seemed the identity card was prepared specifically for him.

But how could a complete newcomer make a hundred ghosts bow to him?!

Feng Xuan's eyes sparkled, and her lips curled with pride, "My brother is, of course, the most extraordinary person."

Pei Sheng stumbled and nearly fell to the ground.

What kind of shameless nonsense was this? Had Xie Wei been poisoned like those ghosts?

He silently wiped his face, feeling that he shouldn’t have gotten involved in this game from the start. Something had been off from the very beginning!

However, the man following them didn’t seem to care. He spoke casually, “Boss Pei, why bother about who he is? In the past, when we entered small worlds, at least half of us would be dead by this point. But now? I haven’t even been injured. Apart from being extremely nervous for the first two days, the rest of the time has been spent eating, drinking, and chatting.”

“The three of us are still considered hardworking. Da Hu and the others have practically become useless as they only lazily sunbathe in the yard. They were even lazier than the fat cat in the backyard.”

“After running for our lives for so long, everyone is actually quite exhausted. It’s good to steal a moment of leisure to adjust our state.”

At this point, the man lowered his voice, “Especially Xiao Jiang and Lan Ge. Maybe they’ve seen too much bloodshed, but their mental state hasn’t been right lately. Every time I meet their eyes, my heart skips a beat.”

“But here, one of them is arranging flowers, and the other is playing with a cat. They’ve become much calmer.”

After saying this, he couldn’t help but laugh, revealing a row of white teeth. “So, why overthink it? We’re people with our heads in our hands anyway. Just enjoy the present.”

Pei Sheng twitched his mouth.

Did they think they were here on vacation? That ghost groom looked stronger than any Da Gui they’d ever encountered. He could wipe them out in an instant, yet these people still had the leisure to relax…

Feng Xuan, however, seemed thoughtful.

A hint of a smile appeared on her cold face. Perhaps this was what her brother wanted to give her.

Her eyes were clear as she looked at the sedan chair floating not far ahead, feeling her heart settle.

Since she met her brother, life had become exceptionally smooth. Any danger or difficulty was easily resolved by him, and she only needed to live a simple, happy life like an ordinary girl.

An ordinary life might seem mundane, but only those who have experienced it know how rare it is to live an ordinary life.

Of course, she wouldn’t dump all her problems on her brother, but sometimes it was okay to relax and rely on him. Perhaps that was what he wanted her to do.

Feng Xuan nodded, her voice carrying a hint of relaxation. “He’s right. We still have to do what needs to be done, but there’s no need to act like we’re facing a great enemy. I estimate this world is only E-level. With our strength, we can handle any situation that arises.”

Pei Sheng was shocked. Was this really Xie Wei? Had he lost his mind?

But before he could give these two a piece of his mind, he saw a group of ghosts standing at the entrance of the mansion, led by the ghost groom.

Pei Sheng tensed up as he gripped his tool tightly, and said in a low voice, “Be careful. Something might happen soon.”

The sedan chair stopped, and Fang Tian immediately stepped forward to lift the curtain for Yue Chu with his pale face showing a hint of guilt.

Yue Chu stepped out and did not give him even a trace of a smile, and just directly threw the fan in his hand at Fang Tian’s face.

The hem of his exquisitely embroidered peony robe fluttered with his movement, as if a gust of wind had blown straight into the mansion.

The ghosts were utterly stunned, not daring to make a sound.

They stole glances at the red mark on the Lord's face, wishing they could just bury themselves in the ground and disappear.

But at this moment, they didn't dare to move a muscle, fearing that any action might draw the Lord's attention, and the next one to have their head knocked off by the fan would be themselves.

Pei Sheng was extremely nervous. He never expected Yue Chu to engage in such a suicidal act. His nostrils flared, sweat beaded on his cheeks, and he clenched his teeth, preparing to face the wrath of Da Gui.

But to his surprise, Fang Tian simply bent down to pick up the fan, quickly followed Yue Chu, and cautiously approached him to apologize.

Although his face was cold and devoid of any smile, his eyes practically screamed two words—"simp".

The ghosts collectively sighed in relief.

Indeed, with the Madam around, everything was safe.

They dispersed.

Pei Sheng stood there in a daze.

What the hell was going on!

Known for his gentle and refined demeanor, he couldn't help but curse under his breath, completely baffled by this absurd scene.

Feng Xuan's eyes flickered slightly as she quietly watched Fang Tian's retreating figure. Could this be her future sister-in-law?

But the ghost groom was just a ghost. Once they left this world, they would likely never meet again.

Thinking this, she shrugged indifferently. As long as her brother was happy, it was fine.

Seeing that the ghosts had all left, those who were arranging flowers, holding cats, and sunbathing... all came over.

Their expressions were relaxed, as if they were on vacation rather than trying to clear a level.

"Any clues?" Pei Sheng couldn't help but lecture them a bit, feeling their state was too lax. Unfortunately, no one listened, and one by one, they yawned, nearly driving him mad.

Xiao Jiang said calmly, "It's obvious that this entire world revolves around the bride. As long as we don't cause trouble, no one will bother us. You're just too tense."

Pei Sheng frowned, "This is an S-level world. It's not that easy."

Xiao Jiang glanced at him and said softly, "I have reliable information. The world has been downgraded."

What?!

Everyone was shocked. When did this guy get this information?

Xiao Jiang remained calm as a hint of softness flashing in his eyes as he thought of his beloved red-dressed female ghost.

"Everyone should just do what they need to do. Just one thing—don't provoke the bride."

Everyone nodded vigorously.

No way, no way. Seeing the ghost groom's bootlicking behavior, who would dare to mess with Yue Chu? That would be like lighting a fire under the big boss's nose.

Seeing everyone calm down, Feng Xuan finally said, "Alright, let's share our clues."

Listening to the chatter around him, Yue Chu remained unresponsive and his handsome face expressionless, which made Fang Tian's heart race nervously.

Before coming, he had made excuses for himself, thinking that even if Yue Chu found out later, he could blame it on the plot. But now it seemed...

Perhaps kneeling on a durian would be more reliable.

"Madam, listen to me..."

He cautiously reached out to grab Yue Chu, but was brushed off by a sleeve. He watched helplessly as the door slammed shut in front of him, leaving him covered in dust.

Fang Tian took a couple of steps back while touching his nose.

It was over.

Yue Chu was really angry.

He slumped his shoulders while looking timidly at the door, and let out a long sigh.

He glanced at the cold steps.

Maybe kneeling here overnight would soften his heart?

But before he could come to a decision, he heard his phone ring.

Fang Tian shuddered all over as he quickly covered his phone and switched it to silent mode.

He swiftly opened the chat interface while cautiously listening for any movement in the room.

With such a thick door, Yue Chu probably didn’t hear it, right?!

Meanwhile, Yue Chu, who had already been lying in bed, showed no trace of the anger from earlier. The corners of his lips curled slightly as he glanced with a half-smile at the shadow cast on the door.

Is this really the best he can do with his little tricks in front of me?

Did he use up all his intelligence from the last world, making him so foolish in this one?

Shaking his head helplessly, he knew his lover had always been a bit "secretly passionate", but acting so dramatically was truly baffling.

Oh well, let him be. It’s rare to see him having so much fun.

Yue Chu’s gaze flickered as his fingers gently tracing the cold edges of his phone.

The screen’s glow illuminated his face, softening his gentle smile into a hazy, almost misty depth, as if lost in an infinite abyss.

System? Rebirth? Transmigration? How intriguing.

Fang Tian saw the message on the screen: "I’m a bit tired. I don’t know when this game will end. I want to go home, and I want to see you."

He clenched his phone. His heart keep pounding fiercely, as if a little rabbit were thumping against his chest.

He missed him…

A faint smile unconsciously appeared on Fang Tian’s usually cold face.

A spring breeze seemed to blow into the icy wilderness of his eyes, melting the frost into warm spring water.

"I miss you too. Come back soon."

Just as Feng Xuan and the others were earnestly discussing the plot’s direction, they heard: "The world of 'Madam Ma' has been cleared. All players will be ejected from the world in ten seconds."

The players: ...

‘We haven’t even done anything yet!!’
