The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)
In the end, the so-called gods agreed to Yue Chu's demands, allowing the Otherworld to become completely independent and a place for punishing Evil Spirits.
"Brother!"
Feng Xuan, who had also become a key figure in the Otherworld, flew into Yue Chu's arms like a bird.
By now, she had regained her original appearance and no longer needed to use Xie Wei's Skin to conceal her femininity.
In truth, her natural appearance was quite similar to Xie Wei's, but after all these years, she had grown so strong internally that she no longer cared much about her looks.
This ugly, ordinary face, which had accompanied her through countless hardships, gave her a sense of security, so she had kept it all this time.
Feng Xuan had never been so happy. She held up her phone to show Yue Chu the headlines.
Although the Old Taoist seemed a bit unreliable, he was more than capable of dealing with ordinary ghosts. He only needed to take a trip to the Xie family to immediately discover that Fang Wan had summoned a Flesh-Eating Imp, and it was this imp that had killed Xie Zhou.
The Old Taoist was furious.
Such a sinister imp had long been forbidden, yet someone was still using this kind of magic to harm others.
Not only that, but Xie Mingyu should have long since departed this world. Yet, Fang Wan had used the Corpse Raising Technique to keep him alive and sustain him with the blood of the living. It was utterly unforgivable.
He caught Fang Wan just as she was about to kill Xiao San and her child. The backlash from the dying imp caused Fang Wan to strangle herself to death.
Without a supply of fresh blood and having already killed three people, Xie Mingyu was taken away by the police. Neither human nor ghost, he was sent to a mental hospital, where he would face endless treatment and confinement.
The Corpse Raising Technique?
Yue Chu pondered this as his gaze subtly sweeping over Feng Xuan's face before he gently smiled. "Good, I’ve finally avenged myself. I should thank the Old Taoist for his assistance."
Feng Xuan happily hugged his arm.
Her brother was so clever, not only solving the problem but also emerging unscathed. She probably wouldn’t have been able to do the same.
And... thinking of this, her smile deepened. Compared to simply killing them, this resolution was far more satisfying.
The shadows on Feng Xuan's face were gone, and her smile was as bright as the spring sunshine in May, radiant and dazzling.
Just then, her ears twitched, and a look of youthful panic crossed her face.
She glanced behind her a couple of times, then quickly lowered her head and said, "I have something to do, Brother. Let’s talk next time." before darting off like a wisp of smoke.
Yue Chu raised an eyebrow.
Not long after, he saw Lu Meng, one of Fang Tian's top Evil Spirits, rushing over. Upon seeing Yue Chu, he quickly bowed.
Lu Meng scratched his head sheepishly. "Um... Lord, have you seen Miss Feng?"
Yue Chu looked Lu Meng up and down.
Lu Meng's situation was somewhat similar to Feng Xuan's—both had been forced into becoming Evil Spirits. Yet, even as an Evil Spirit, Lu Meng couldn’t shake off his inherent shyness and was often mocked by other Evil Spirits.
He pointed in the direction Feng Xuan had gone. "She just left."
Lu Meng's eyes lit up, and he immediately thanked Yue Chu before transforming into a shadow and chasing after her.
Fang Tian then sidled up to Yue Chu with his eyes full of jealousy as he stared at the arm Feng Xuan had hugged.
He wanted to hug it too...
But a moment later, a look of delight flashed in his eyes.
Good, this was really good! Lu Meng, that kid, had some potential!
Once Feng Xuan had a lover, she probably wouldn’t have time to compete with him for attention every day.
Yue Chu looked at Fang Tian's eager expression with amusement and deliberately took two steps closer to him.
"Finished with your work? Want to go for a walk together?"
Fang Tian immediately nodded.
Ever since Yue Chu arrived, he no longer found the dark and seemingly endless Otherworld boring.
In fact, he now believed that the most romantic thing in the world was accompanying Yue Chu to explore every corner of this Otherworld until the faint light of dawn appeared.
After picking out a Skin that Yue Chu liked the most, the two of them walked side by side on the dimly lit street.
The lonely streetlights flickered, casting a slightly dim glow, with a few small insects circling around them.
Their shadows stretched long, reflecting on the broken walls and ruins, drawing closer and then apart as they walked.
Fang Tian stole glances at Yue Chu's face out of the corner of his eye before subtly closing the distance between them.
Thirty centimeters, twenty centimeters, ten centimeters...
The hems of their clothes gently brushed against each other, producing a soft, heart-fluttering rustling sound.
Their fingers occasionally touched as they swung their arms, and the slight coolness of the contact made Fang Tian's heart race. He swallowed dryly.
A faint smile appeared in his dark, lightless eyes, like a sunrise breaking through the darkness that involuntarily radiating boundless brilliance and spreading the light of happiness across the land.
Yue Chu glanced at him.
‘Coward, are you really this happy just from touching hands?’
Yet, perhaps this innocence was contagious, as it also stirred a long-lost flutter in his own heart.
His fingers moved slightly to gently hook onto Fang Tian's cold, rigid fingers that lacked any warmth. When Fang Tian turned to him in surprise, Yue Chu smiled brightly.
No matter how time passed, no matter how space shifted, all the heart-fluttering moments were still reserved for the person before him.
Yue Chu's smile was radiant and boundless.
...

Overall Rating: You are the ultimate Green Tea!"
Little Bear stared at the task progress bar, which had finally reached full, and for the first time felt overwhelming joy at the thought of finally being able to end its work.
It couldn't take it anymore.
Working with Yue Chu was a constant challenge to its little heart. Not only was its intelligence constantly being outmatched, but it also had to worry every day about the unconventional ways Yue Chu completed tasks. This was not the life a normal system should lead.
With tears in its eyes, Little Bear wished it could burn incense and thank the heavens to finally be ready to bid farewell to this formidable figure.
Little Bear cheerfully waved its magic wand and approached Yue Chu, using a handkerchief to wipe away nonexistent tears. "Host, your tasks have all been successfully completed. It's now time to claim your reward. Please confirm if you wish to fulfill your wish for rebirth."
Yue Chu looked at the panel before him with a meaningful smile playing on his lips. He reached out and grabbed Little Bear by the ear, pulling it close.
"What, still trying to deceive me at this point?"
Little Bear blinked helplessly, completely unaware of what he meant.
Still pretending? Yue Chu raised an eyebrow and spoke lightly, "Then I'd like to change my reward. Is that possible?"
Little Bear was stunned and murmured, "But if you don't choose rebirth, your final outcome will still be death."
Yue Chu shrugged with his eyes smiling as he looked at it, and said softly, "I don't care. Death isn't scary to me."
Little Bear grew impatient: "How can you not care? Think about the wonderful life you once had, think about your family and your lover. Don’t you want to go back and see them?"
Yue Chu shook his head: "My parents passed away early, and there’s no one left in my family. As for a lover… have you forgotten that I’ve already broken up with the General?" He stared deeply at Little Bear, as if trying to pierce through its hypocritical facade to uncover the secrets hidden behind.
Little Bear rolled its eyes, remained silent for a moment, and then reluctantly agreed: "Fine, then what wish do you want to change? Out of kindness, I’m telling you, there’s nothing more suitable for you than rebirth."
Yue Chu flicked its head hard as a hint of cunning flashing in his eyes.
"I want to see the General one more time."
What?!
Little Bear stiffened and looked at him, completely unprepared for Yue Chu to make such a wish. Just moments ago, he had clearly…
It furrowed its fluffy little face, its tiny hands clenched into fists, and it directly snapped the silver magic wand in its grip.
Yue Chu chuckled and pinched its cheek: "What, are you throwing a tantrum now?"
In a flash, Little Bear seemed to realize something as its small black eyes widening in disbelief as it looked at Yue Chu, no longer the naive and sweet creature it once was: "You’ve been playing me?!"
Yue Chu casually admitted it—yes, he had been playing it, so what?
Little Bear shook off his hand with its expression icy as it floated in front of him, and said in a deep voice, "When did you figure it out?"
Yue Chu tapped his finger leisurely.
When, indeed?
In truth, he hadn’t noticed anything amiss during the first world. He had only wanted to test the system’s limits, which was why he deliberately chose Wei Xieyang instead of Du Guzhou at the start and to see what consequences there would be for not following the system’s demands.
The result was that the system couldn’t do anything to him, aside from boring verbal sparring that left his ears calloused.
The only exception was Wei Xieyang, because he hadn’t initially planned to actually fall in love with him. He had only intended to break up Wei Xieyang and Du Guzhou, then fake his death and live freely.
Suddenly realizing he might have been a bit of a scoundrel, Yue Chu chuckled inwardly and shook his head.
But the outcome was that he discovered something peculiar.
Namely, Wei Xieyang gave him the exact same feeling as the General.
Yue Chu had been pursued by many men and women in his life, but all of them had been dull—except for the General, who alone brought him joy.
He was certain that he only loved this one person, yet in these strange worlds he had crossed into, he encountered others who stirred his heart in the same way, even sharing the same little habits. Naturally, he grew suspicious.
The subsequent worlds only confirmed his suspicions.
Why did they all wear sapphire rings? Because that was the token of love he had given to the General. Though it wasn’t worth much, the General treasured it like a precious gem.
Why did they all carry a faint scent of roses? Because their first time together had been in a rose pool he had specially prepared. Though it wasn’t the General who had been left fragrant, but him.
And the General particularly hated eating sweets because he had suffered from tooth decay as a child, which had caused him excruciating pain. But because Yue Chu liked sweets, the General would eat them too.
He was certain that the General had no memory of entering these roles, yet these deeply ingrained habits remained.
Thinking of this, Yue Chu’s smile blossomed like spring flowers.
"And you’re just too stupid."
Upon hearing this, Little Bear almost had a heart attack.
Where was it stupid?
If Yue Chu hadn't suspected it the first time, then in the second world, it had exposed its identity by overcompensating.
The vampire disguised as Wei Xieyang was a major blunder, instantly making Yue Chu realize the truth.
The system wanted him to complete the game, but it didn't want him to repeatedly find the General and fall in love with him.
His eyes curved into a soft arc, like the crescent moon on the first day of the lunar month, hazy yet with a hint of coolness.
"If I'm not mistaken, you must have made some agreement with the General, probably something as trivial as wanting to see if I could recognize him and fall in love with him in each world, right?"
Little Bear was speechless with its entire face drooping. He had said it all; what else was there to say?
"Even so, why would you rather give up the chance of rebirth just to see him? Didn't he abandon you?"
Yue Chu raised an eyebrow. Indeed, the General had suddenly left without a word, which had infuriated him at the time.
But he didn't believe the guy could hold out for long, so he deliberately flirted around, and sure enough, the guy came crawling back soon enough.
Only, when he returned, his mouth was still so stubborn as he kept insisting they were just friends with benefits, not lovers.
But okay, he had no problem with that. Once the person was in his hands, he could mold him as he pleased.
Thinking of this, Yue Chu licked his lips with lingering satisfaction. Actually, watching the General play hard to get and feign reluctance was quite thrilling.
Unfortunately, the good times didn't last. When war broke out, the country was defeated and destroyed within a few years.
Little Bear twitched its mouth.
No wonder the General had agreed so easily when it suggested changing the bet. Turns out he already knew Yue Chu's nature.
"Alright, alright, you win. You're the best. Damn, how did I get so unlucky to meet you!"
Yue Chu pinched its head and rubbed it, with his eyes brighter than the stars in the universe while looking at Little Bear with a soft, watery smile. "Actually, I quite like you, little cutie."
Little Bear instantly blushed while blinking its tiny eyes, feeling like its heart couldn't take it.
‘What's with all this talk of liking or not liking? It's... it's really annoying!’
The winner takes all, and Little Bear accepted its loss. With a wave of its magic wand, a tall, familiar figure appeared before Yue Chu.
The General was still wearing the military uniform Yue Chu loved the most and his dark eyes gazing deeply at him. The unspoken affection is palpable even without words.
Yue Chu smiled, though the corners of his eyes glistened slightly. He strode forward, grabbed the General's collar, pulled his head down, and planted a fierce kiss.
"Why?" he asked hoarsely.
The only thing he couldn't understand was why the General had done this.
The General looked at him quietly. A storm brewing in the depths of his eyes, but he merely moved his thin lips and said nothing.
He tightened his arms and kept holding Yue Chu tightly in his embrace while letting out a satisfied sigh from his chest and closing his eyes in contentment.
Little Bear rolled its eyes as it was unable to understand why Yue Chu liked this man who couldn't even utter a word.
It curled its lips in disdain and kindly explained for the General, "Because he wanted to save you."
Yue Chu's eyes flickered.
In fact, the world Yue Chu resides in is truly a small world developed from a book. Wei Chu (introduced in Chapter 1) is the protagonist, while Yue Chu is the greatest antagonist.
No matter how powerful an antagonist is, they can never surpass the protagonist. Thus, Yue Chu's fate is to die on the battlefield and become a tragic hero in history.
The General, however, is a time traveler. He had once read this book and lamented Yue Chu's tragic fate, never imagining that one day he would actually traverse into the book and come to know Yue Chu.
He resisted Yue Chu, for befriending an antagonist was undoubtedly a sorrowful and bitter affair.
But...
Emotions are something that can never be controlled. No matter how much he tried to escape it rationally, the General still fell in love with Yue Chu.
The more beautiful the love, the more painful the thought of possibly losing it became for the General.
He continuously sought ways to alter Yue Chu's fate, even resorting to using a forbidden family technique.
The forbidden technique indeed had an effect; the outbreak of war was delayed, and the original General was replaced by him.
But it still wasn't enough; the ending remained unchanged.
Worse still, due to the forbidden technique, the General's body began to decay. He had to leave Yue Chu to prevent him from discovering the issue.
Yet, as Yue Chu said, though the person left, the heart did not. Merely seeing his lover smile at someone else with a smile that once belonged to him made the General's eyes burn with jealousy.
At his wit's end, he obtained a system. The system sealed the memories on his body and promised to rewrite Yue Chu's death if the General completed the tasks.
The General agreed, but the system reneged as it found it too dull.
The long, tedious time made the system seek some fun, so it changed the original traversal task to "If the General's lover can find him and fall in love with him across four worlds, then the system will rewrite Yue Chu's ending."
The General had no bargaining chips at that time, and...
He agreed.
In truth, he also wanted to know if Yue Chu truly loved him or if it was because of his identity as a time traveler.
The General wasn't confident that such a perfect Yue Chu would like him. Yue Chu always said he was unique, but only he knew it was because he wasn't originally from this world.
The system wanted to gamble, and he wanted to gamble too.
Yue Chu smiled while gently smoothing the General's hair with his fingers, and then slapped him hard when the General looked down at him with tender affection.
The crisp sound made the General's head turn.
‘Goodness, so fierce!’
Little Bear was so scared that it stuffed both paws into its mouth, thankful it had never thought of falling in love.
A red slap mark appeared on the General's handsome, wheat-colored face, and the corner of his mouth was split as a trickle of blood flowed out.
He wasn't angry and just turned back to tightly embrace Yue Chu before burying his head deeply in Yue Chu's shoulder, his voice hoarse as he said, "I'm sorry..."
Yue Chu helplessly closed his eyes, ‘So foolish.’
But fortunately, everything will come to a perfect conclusion.
The End.
