Chapter 75: Saving the World with Green Tea Photos 08

The Green Tea is Always Targeting The Wrong Person (GREENTEA)

Time always flew by when chatting with Simp. Yue Chu looked up and noticed it was almost time to leave work, so he hurriedly bid farewell, tidied up his things, and prepared to head out.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw two groups of people standing opposite each other in the narrow hallway, the atmosphere seemingly far from harmonious.

The long corridor was covered in dark gray carpet, and the walls on both sides were painted the same color. Without any windows, the place remained perpetually dim, requiring lights to be on even during the day to see the way clearly.

On one side stood a mother and son. The mother’s disheveled hair covered most of her face as she bowed her head, seemingly fearful. Her fingers gripped the boy’s shoulders so tightly that they turned white, completely unaware that her strength might be hurting him.

The little boy also seemed scared, but his eyes lit up when he saw Yue Chu. His unusually pale face revealed a childlike innocence.

He was wearing a black-and-white long-sleeved T-shirt with a cute spotted dog design on the chest. Clutching a large basketball in his arms, he blinked his big, bright eyes and smiled at Yue Chu.

Yue Chu nodded at him with a smile, then turned his gaze to the man on the other side.

The man was exceptionally tall and burly, standing at a towering 195 centimeters. His massive frame alone seemed to block the entire hallway.

His appearance wasn’t particularly likable—his overly thick eyebrows gave off a menacing and oppressive vibe. Three vertical lines between his brows made his expression appear harsh and severe.

What was most striking, however, were his hands. The little finger on his left hand was missing, leaving only a smooth stump. The knuckle of his index finger was unusually thick, resembling a tumor growing on his finger, which looked rather grotesque.

His gaze was sinister as he stared at Yue Chu, his eyes seemingly laced with venom.

Yue Chu, unafraid and undeterred, even smiled gently. Though his slender frame couldn’t compare to the giant’s, he stood as steadfast as a white poplar in a sandstorm, exuding calm and reassurance.

“What’s the meaning of blocking the way here? I’m in a hurry, so please move aside.”

The giant coldly stared at him for a moment, then snorted disdainfully through his nose. For some reason, however, he chose to step back. His iron-tower-like figure retreated until he stood by the staircase. He grabbed the third-floor railing as if he were about to jump down.

Yue Chu was slightly taken aback and raised an eyebrow. The giant paused, looking frustrated as he stepped back down from the railing. He shot Yue Chu a fierce glare before descending the stairs one step at a time.

A thoughtful look flashed in Yue Chu’s eyes as he turned to the mother and son. Sure enough, they seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

The little boy tightly hugged his basketball and stepped forward to thank Yue Chu with his big eyes filled with undisguised admiration. In his mind, Yue Chu was like a superhero from the movies that bravely drove away the bad guy.

Yue Chu affectionately patted the boy’s head while subtly glancing at the mother. It was then that he noticed something unusual about her. Though her face was obscured, her childlike behavior revealed her issues.

Without asking further questions, he crouched down and pulled out a handful of White Rabbit milk candies from his pocket before placing them in the boy’s hands.

“Good boy, so brave. These candies are your reward.”

The boy was overjoyed, his pale face flushing with excitement as he exclaimed, “Thank you, big brother!”

After speaking, he ran back to his mother's side, using his thin fingers to unwrap a milk candy. He tiptoed to offer it to his mother's mouth, and only after seeing her eat it did he happily clap his hands before carefully storing the candy in his pants pocket.

Watching the mother and son leave, Yue Chu quickly hurried outside. Glancing at his watch, he realized he had already wasted some time and would need to ride faster.

……..

Otherworld

Taking advantage of Yue Chu's busy schedule, Fang Tian finally had time to handle his own affairs. He gathered his subordinates, but looking at these misfits, he couldn't help but feel disdain.

What kind of ghastly appearances are these? Can they even be looked at?!

A group of Evil Spirits huddled together while trembling and avoiding their boss's gaze, fearing that the recently love-stricken boss might, in a fit of unhappiness, devour them all.

It was clear that these Evil Spirits had not come willingly. Originally, they had been freely causing trouble, but they had inexplicably been dragged into the Otherworld. Without even being asked, they were first beaten for a month, and then... then any temper they had was subdued.

After much deliberation, Fang Tian finally decided to choose the Da Xiao Long Brothers, mainly because these two didn't talk much and kept their mouths shut.

Tossing out two Skins, he pointed at the two of them, instructing them to stay and carefully admonishing them: "Once you go there, remember to disguise yourselves well and never reveal your identities. Also, everything must be guided by... by that person's will. Remember these six words—obedient, capable, and silent. Got it?"

Da Long and Xiao Long exchanged a glance and silently nodded. They put on the Skins and immediately transformed into two 1.8-meter-tall bodyguards, looking somewhat impressive.

Fang Tian was satisfied and waved them off, urging them to hurry. Just the thought of that person being targeted by thugs made him uneasy.

His joy didn't last long, though, as his gaze turned melancholic again. Looking at the familiar circle of friends on his phone, he felt his heart shatter again.

After a while, a black gate adorned with Nine Dragons slowly disappeared, and the Otherworld immediately returned to its bustling state.

Yue Chu didn't expect to receive such a big surprise upon his return. Seeing Da Xiao Long Brothers dressed in black suits and sunglasses, as if they had stepped out of a movie, he couldn't help but feel a bit helpless.

"Please, have a seat. Xiao Xuan, could you bring two glasses of water?"

Da Xiao Long Brothers sat down stiffly before taking the water from Feng Xuan's hands and drinking it in one gulp.

Yue Chu rubbed his temples in frustration and wondered where Simp had found such strange bodyguards.

"Are you there? I've met them, and I'm really grateful, but I truly don't need them. Please send them back."

On the other end, a crying face was sent first, followed by: "I've already paid their wages, so don't be polite with me."

After a while, he couldn't help but add: "My heart is in so much pain..."

Yue Chu felt the veins on his forehead throbbing. Before he could deal with Da Xiao Long Brothers, he had to ask what was wrong with Simp this time, though he could probably guess.

"Did you investigate? What was the result?"

Fang Tian felt as if the sky had fallen. Even the patterns on his body seemed to fade, and he felt as if he had been shattered into pieces, unable to be put back together.

The result? The result was that the Male God he had idolized was actually a scoundrel!

It was one thing to deceive him—after all, he was the one who pursued him, so he deserved it. But he had used the money Fang Tian gave him to juggle three relationships and simultaneously deceive three girls. Two were already pregnant and waiting to get married, and one was in the midst of a passionate romance.

Fang Tian felt utterly hopeless. How could someone be so despicable and shameless while calmly deceiving others' emotions without a hint of remorse, even taking pride in it!

As expected.

Yue Chu wasn't surprised by this outcome and offered some comforting words, "Sigh, no one could have anticipated this. They say you can't see through someone's true intentions, and sometimes it's impossible to see through their disguise."

"It's just a pity for your sincere feelings, and... for those innocent girls."

"However, such behavior is truly despicable. If it were me, I probably wouldn't be as magnanimous as you."

Yue Chu slightly curled his lips, "After all, I'm someone who always repays in kind."

Fang Tian was amused by him, and the phone floating in front of him quickly typed out words. The carvings on his body began to glow, shimmering with a faint blue light that reflected his soaring mood.

"Actually, I'm quite bad too. I want to get back at him and make his lies have nowhere to hide."

A glint flashed in Yue Chu's eyes as he tapped the screen, his opinion of this Simp somewhat improved. This was someone who could take things in stride.

"Do whatever you want to do, I'll always support you."

Fang Tian felt a warmth in his heart. Perhaps all he needed was this simple affirmation.

"Thank you, I'm really happy."

Yue Chu also softened his expression. Since they were already so familiar, it didn't feel right to keep calling him Simp.

After some thought, he asked, "May I ask your name? I'm Yue Chu, nice to meet you."

Fang Tian felt his heart pounding. The black gate before him glowing with radiant colors, illuminating the boundless void of darkness.

"Fang Tian, I'm also very happy to meet you."

Yue Chu, “Huh?”

Fang Tian repeated the name in his mind several times, finding it incredibly pleasing.

Fang as the surname?

Yue Chu pondered thoughtfully as a faint smile curled at the corners of his lips. It seemed his long-held suspicions were correct.

He gazed with a smile at this mysterious visitor, perhaps everything was destined by fate.

…….

At midnight, Xiao Zi stumbled drunkenly towards her apartment.

Her sequined mini skirt barely covered her hips, clinging tightly to her body and accentuating her figure. Her snow-white legs were clad in ten-centimeter high heels, and she staggered while clutching a matching sequined handbag.

Feeling unwell, she quickly leaned against a roadside tree and began to vomit.

Too overwhelmed to notice, she didn't see the shadow that had been following her from a distance with the knife in its hand glinting coldly under the streetlight.

Seeing her stop, the shadow silently approached while raising the sharp knife, ready to strike.

"Ahhhhh!!"

A scream pierced the night sky.

Xiao Zi flailed her limbs in terror as she felt a strong force grab her long hair and lift her into the air.

The excruciating pain as if her scalp was being torn made her cry out in agony, her voice hoarse from smoke and alcohol, screaming for help.

The shadow was stunned with its eyes wide with disbelief before staggering back a few steps, unable to comprehend the bizarre scene before him.

There was no one else around, yet Xiao Zi seemed to be lifted by someone grabbing her hair with her feet kicking wildly, her golden high heels falling to the side.

Soon, Xiao Zi's left arm was torn off, bright red blood spurting from the severed limb, splattering the shadow, who dropped his knife in fright.

The silver blade caught a drop of crimson blood, emitting a chilling glow in the dark night.

Yue Chu followed the sound and arrived, witnessing the astonishing scene before him. Before he could intervene, two brothers, appearing out of nowhere, each threw a punch into the void, rescuing Xiao Zi, while the other directly pinned the shadowy figure to the ground.

He helplessly rubbed his temples. Would a normal person jump down from a three-story rooftop?

But regardless, the matter was resolved just like that.

"Hello, 110? There's been a case of a criminal assault here. Please send someone over as soon as possible. The address is..."

After hanging up the phone, Yue Chu chuckled and sent a message to Fang Tian: "The people you sent are quite good."

Fang Tian, who had been watching his former Male God being beaten up by three girls and uploading the video online, finally showed a faint smile.

"As long as they're useful to you."
